Ruger Security-9 9mm 3.42" Pistol, Black – 3818

I bought this pistol as a carry gun. I’ve only put about 200 rounds through it, but so far so good. Great size. Great reliability. I have big hands and ended up buying 15 round magazines with a magazine adapter which lengthens the grip.

I usually forget it's in my hip when I wear it using my in-waist holder. The clip comes with an additional finger hold which feels very comfortable in my hands.

A great and affordable alternative to a Glock 26. And not much larger than a sig p365. It runs great and is accurate. I really enjoy my Davidson's dark earth model. Comes with 10 and 15 rd mags.

Shot about 200 rounds with this pistol. No feeding or extracting problems. Bought a full size Security-9 magazine with a sleeve. It works great too.

Ruger Security 9 compact model 3818: I have small hands so the grip fits fine. I like the thickness and weight of this pistol. Only 40 rounds through it so far. No jams. Easy to clean.

Ruger has always been one of my favorite brands .. I have wanted a 9mm to go with my 38sp for some time.

I have the full size Security 9 and the compact is identical to it except for the grip and barrel lenghts, which makes the compact more concealable.

I love it only downside is Ammo is shard to find for 9mm wantto go target practice and I need ammo. All other things are great!!

Better than glock 43x and 43, beretta apx, and beretta px4 storm. My favorite handgun. 500+ rounds never a jam, easy use and clean, cheap, accurate, small.

I bought it online without first physically holding it to get the feel of it. Once I got it home, took it shooting, I loved it. It actually fits my hand & shoots accurately. It is exactly what I wanted it to be. I would recommend it!

Love it! took in out and ran 50 rounds of Winchester 115gr target through it with no problems, I have big hands, so I got 2 15 rd mags with the sleeve for it and it fits me perfect. My 13-year-old daughter also likes it. its light easy to conceal and carry. Plus, I have a pc carbine so I can use the same mags for both. For the price I highly recommend it,

The Security-9c is a great conceal weapon. It feels good in my hand, especially with the magazine extender, as I have large hands. I use a 124 grain ammo, and the kick was easy to handle. After a bit of practice I was able to hit the target and group my shots fairly well. With more practice I will become even better. The target was set at about 25 yards. I put 70 rounds through the weapon without any malfunctions or jams. I was using the cheaper ammo, although it also had a fairly good reputation. So I was really happy.

Excellent fire arm, Just what I was looking for. Being a first time gun owner. My hands aren’t real large, So the gun fit perfect in my hands. I went through 500 rds. At the range with know flaws. I love my gun.

It feels good in your hand and is an excellent shooting gun internal hammer sweet trigger. And has plenty of extra’s on it stock 10 or 15 round magazines for plenty of fire power 9mm.

Love this gun! I’ve carried it a few times now and it conceals very easily and is very light and comfortable. Grip is just big enough to where I can get a really firm grip on it but is small enough to where printing isn’t an issue.
