Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22 LR and .22 Magnum cartridges, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want ’em. The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. There are also other grip materials available, plus finish options include the attractive and durable Smooth Silver Satin. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken. Ideal for hunting, plinking or western action shooting, let the Rough Rider be your choice in a new rimfire revolver.

2 years agoNice western revolver. I SHOot a lot of 22MAg rounds. Nice to switch to the 22Lr for an expensive fun. I have the 6 round revolver also. But you know what they say, 9 is better than 6.

1 year agoCool gun with all the features i wanted. Tight 22LR Groups but the 22mag were way bigger. Used cci WMR and it was all Over the place. Hopefully another brand will lead to better 22mag groups.

1 year agoAfter 150 rounds it runs like a top. Love the 6.5 inch barrel. At 15 yds was able to hit 4” steel almost every time. Only missed due to poor aim on my part. Only bad thing I can say is the frame material is rough and over all bluing is so/ so. BUT, it’s a range gun not a collectors piece. Loads of fun to shoot.

1 year agoLove this little shooter! Beautiful grips, nice overall fit and finish and it is a tack driver to boot. Nothing not to like here!

1 year agoBeautiful fit & finish for what many may consider a "bargain firearm". As stated in the DEScription- it comes with the 22LR cylinder installed and a 22Mag cylinder in the box. I have not shot this yet, but the feel in the hand & natural POINT-ABility tells me it is going to be a good one!

1 year agoThis is my second Heritage revolver in 22lr and for the price you have to pay more for some thing that is equivalent to the quality of this gun

1 year agoI purchased 3 different versions of the Heritage Rough Rider and was concerned about light strikes that I've read about on You Tube. My 3 fire perfectly. Happy so far.

1 year agoOrdered this firearm online and once it arrived, I went to the store and completed the paperwork electronically via a tablet. No paperwork to fill out. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and they made the process very easy.

1 year agoI really can not speak about the Heritage Mfg. Rough Rider 9 inch adjustable site revolver since I just bought it. What I can say is that I own the Heritage Mfg. Rough Rider 6 inch adjustable site revolver and it is the reason I bought the 9 inch version of the exact same gun. I have fired the 6 inch version just over 200 rounds and I like it well...Read More Read more about review stating Not exactly the review you ask for but I did the best I could.

1 year agoFinish could be a little better but no complaints.Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Accuracy is better than I expected. Getting 2.5 inch groups @ 15 yrds.

1 year agoFor the price this is a great little revolver. Not going to be the best when it comes to finish or quality, but for some target practice it’s hard to have more fun with a firearm for the price than a rough rider.

1 year agoFun plinker, cylinder alignment is slightly off when in the second cocked position and trying to load or unload. The extractor rod doesn't line up so you have to only partially rotate the barrel, not a big deal and certainly not a deal breaker at this price point.
