1 year agoGreat ammo for Cowboy Action Shooting. Just wish it was available in my local store. But glad I could get it online.

1 year agoI suppose its my own fault for not realizing I was purchasing gag ammo that would smoke like mad when fired. Who knew they even made that stuff and would have it for sale at an outdoors store? I was looking for 2 things- ammo I could shoot at the range, and ammo I could carry in the backcountry. This is smoky ammo for wild west shows, that happens to shoot a real bullet. I'm not entirely sure why exactly anyone would want to shoot a real bullet at a wild west show, or why anyone would want to shoot super smoky ammo for the effect. Its puzzling...but I sure do own some now.

1 year agoThis is the 240 grain lead bullet in Starline brass, clean powder and a good price, considering the political climate.

1 year agoI bought this for use in a Henry Big boy, lever action, brass action rifle. The gun is a dream, and this ammo cycles flawlessly, in about 200 rounds, not 1 FTE, FTL, or FTF. 100% flawless operation. A little smoky, but not real bad at all. Makes CAS look good, like the days of old. Even though it's a little smoky, it doesn't foul up the action or barrel. It's surprisingly clean for the amount of smoke. Very accurate too. at 75 yards, 2-2.5 inch groups with just the iron sites. I can honestly recommend this ammo for your rifle, or "peacemaker".

1 year agoI bought these to get some brass for reloading. I hope I can reload some bullets that shoots as well as these did !

1 year agoRounds were consistent on Ballistic Chronograph (Muzzle Velocity) (FPS) Variation after 50 rds was 0.025. Performed to expectations in my 1858 Remington by Uberti.

1 year agoI bought two boxes of this ammo good price and fast delivery but when it arrived I noticed right off the bat that it has small pistol primers instead of large, hope it works the same but will not be able to reload it.

1 year agoI ordered and received this product. Beyond that I feel the “Terms and Conditions” required to submit reviews does not allow objective criticism.

1 year agoI figured it had to work. Might be nice not to pay for federal. I tried 6 rounds 2 actually fired and barely even kicked. Its so bad I'd love to give it to my enemy to point at me.

1 year agoGood fast polite and helpful service by the phone rep. Good quality product arrived quickly in great condition. Ammo performed well, only limited by my shooting skills.

1 year agoGot for because of the low price which wasn't that low. Short story I had to fire multiple time per round to get it to actually fire I assume Because of the small primers. I eventually got most to shoot after probably 100 to 150 times of pulling the trigger still have a few that would not fire no matter how many times I try.!

1 year agoI use this ammo in my .45 LC Uberti Schofield 1875 No. 3 2nd Model Top-Break revolver and my Taylor's and Company New Model No. 3 Frontier Top-Break revolver. I shoot a 50-round box each through these two revolvers at the local outdoor range and have never had any issues.

1 year agoThis is great ammo for general woods carry, or range sessions. In the south, this ammo will handle most critters that needs holes punched in them.
