Possibly the most rigorously tested pistol ever developed, the new SAR9 endured 130 degrees baking to simulate desert conditions, -50 degrees for the arctic, salt fog, high altitude, 24 hr of rain, solar radiation, fouling, drop tests, and 150000 round of live fire in the factory. Police later ran their own test that included 50000 rounds. Finally, a NATO test against major manufacturers from Austria, German,y and the U.S. ran 90000 rounds with the SAR9 the clear winner. However, the SAR9 has more to offer than just toughness and reliability. The lightweight polymer-framed, striker-fired, 9mm, SAR9 points naturally and is a pleasure to shoot. With a choice of three insertable back straps to customize fit, a low barrel axes to grip ratio to lessen muzzle climb, and a 20-degree grip angle providing the superior control and fast second shot recovery accuracy is built in. 2 years agoPicked this up because of the good reviews I've seen. Not disappointed at all. Very ACCURATE. Customized the grips to my hand size. FEELS really good in my hands. Nice BALANCE. Only thing I will do for now is and a set of good night sights. Just a preference for my aging eyes. Happy with my purchase. One other thing, love the fact it has no thumb safety.

2 years agoI love this gun. Has the feel of a glock and hk at half the price. Shoots very well and has given me no issue at around 350 rounds. Easy to take down and clean and a pleasure to shoot. I'll be buying more products from Sarusa. I did get the 9t without external safety. You can put a safety in it very cheaply if you don't like it this way. Does have a glock style safety trigger.

2 years agoHands down, the Turkish SAR9T is the hottest 9mm on the market today with another Turkish model, the Canik TP9 ELITE SC. Accurate and very smooth, right out of the box. "WHAT IS A GLOCK?" Sarzilmatz (SARUSA) is a Turkish Brand, and the hottest right now. Killing it!!

2 years agoI really like the feel of this gun . Has good balance , not the best trigger hopefully it will break in . Extremely accurate but I have only run a hundred rounds through it . No feeding issues using the reman 115gr I was using. I would definitely recommend it for the price.

2 years agoI've only put about 100 rounds through it, but it was flawless. I'm not saying it's the best gun I've ever had the pleasure of shooting, but it was comfortable and accurate. Factor in the sale price and rebate, and you can't beat it. Great value.

2 years agoI had several SAR9 pistols since they started showing up a few years ago and can honestly say I’ve never had a bad one. The all have functioned flawlessly and have been quite accurate as well. My personal description to other shooters has been they offer the ergonomics of an H&K style frame with an upper similar to a Glock. Even the trigger is better than most of the striker fired pistols I’ve fired over the years. No downside to these pistols that I’ve found so far. Love ‘em.

2 years agoPurchased this particular model ($250) because it does NOT have an external thumb safety. After 200rounds of 115 and 124grn FMJ without any misfires, my impression is completely positive. Love the ergonomics and ability to fully customize the grip. Like the Glock-like slide because easy to grip, good sights, and trigger is excellent despite what others say (gritty). Only in super slow motion past the break. Felt recoil moderate, high bore axis, shoots accurate, two 17rnd quality

2 years agoGreat piece, smooth function great accuracy a really nice solid piece. awesome price, shipped out to my local FFD, had it in my hand in under a week. My only issue was I couldn't get the 17th round in the clip, spring didn't want to compress by just loading it with my fingers, might need a tool or maybe it'll break in after a while. all in all super happy with it.

2 years agoGot it on sale for $250, an astounding value. Definitely a full duty-sized handgun (Glock 17 not 19) and shoots like it. Comfortable grip, same as the HK VP9. Low bore axis like a Glock, nice steel sights. The trigger was a bit gritty at first but after some dry firing and shooting it's smoothed really nicely, I wouldn't want it any lighter. Small stage before an easy break. Haven't found a good deal on extra mags yet. Put 100-200 rounds of 115gr FMJ through it, no malfunctions. I think it comes
