Sellier & Bellot 250 gr Hollow Point Boat Tail .338 Lapua Mag Ammo, 10/box – SB338LMA

Not a fan. Case stretched and would not eject; almost as if they're loaded a little hot. Inconsistant on target as well. Tried reloading the brass and loaded light...case still stretched. Was not impressed. Tried in two different rifles with same result.

I've used this ammo in my SA110BA. Rifle was zero'ed at 100 yards. These would go into the red dot on command. Used them in a long distance competition, with targets from 100 yards out to 887 yards (Pala Casino rifle range in Fallbrook, CA). Took 2nd place. Some good shooters there. Ammo did its part just fine. Any problems with this stuff? Yes. The walls of this ammo are thin, and expand in my DRD Kavarii Tactical .338 Laupa. Had a lot of FTF, FTE, and one Misfire, in 40 rounds. However, I will say that my Wife's Savage 110 BA LOVES this ammo, and is very accurate in her gun. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

Lapua: It feels good to be able to touch a mile. But I think next Time I'm going to use a higher grain count. But this rounds performed beautifully and great to us on a fun range day.

worked great in my desert tech 18" covert. nice brass and shot well. will buy more. need to shoot some suppressed next week.

Used this to sight in a .338 Lapua..... I was totally impressed with a dime sized group at 100 yards.... Just wanting to get out farther...
