1 year agoOver all i like the Savage B-Mag. the Bolt handle is hard to operate it cocks on the downward push. I do like the 17 WSM rim fire over a 17 HMR. I did shoot and 1 1/2 group at 200 yards with Winchester 20 gr. In my opinion Savage is making the best rifle for the 17 WSM. sure wish a gun company would make a real quality rifle in the 17 WSM

1 year agoRifle looks nice. Doesn't run very good. I cleaned it before I ran three types of ammo. in it and during the first forty five rounds it failed to extract nine spent cases and I had to dig them out with my pocket knife. the 17 win. 20gr. was the worst but the 17 Hornady 20gr. and the 17 win. 25gr. were also a problem. I hope this problem goes away after more ammo. is run through it. it does seem to be fairly accurate. Richard

1 year agofirst, another great grabagun flawless purchase. Accuracy is great, shoots fine. Finish on the metal and woodwork are below that of the 93RBTVSS .17hmr, coffee thumbhole target stainless rifle. The barrel looked like a very half hearted attempt at bead blast matte stainless with marks where it was laying/turned on sides of the barrel, the stock is very flimsy, too much releif material removed.
