2 years agoThe fit and finish on this pistol is outstanding and it's 100% American made. The trigger is smooth and has a light pull and a crisp break. I've been a machinist for 30 years and am very impressed with the quantity machine work and the smooth satin finish. I fired 100 rounds so far with no failures and very good accuracy. My experience with grab a gun has also been great they slipped the gun on a Friday and I had it on Monday from Texas to Pennsylvania.

2 years agoI am very impressed with this Ruger as well as GAG. First time ive ordered from them and my gun shipped on Monday and I had possession Tuesday. Cant wait to do more business with them and again the 1911 is well worth the money.

2 years agoFast shipping. Ordered on a Monday afternoon and was at my FFL by Wednesday afternoon. This is my first 1911 and right out of the box no cleaning, 1st 100 round had a grouping the size of my palm fun to shoot. I almost went with a cheaper model 1911 but glad I spent the extra money.

1 year agoNice gun for the price very reliable I also have a kimber and a Springfield though and this gun don’t measure up as far as fit and finish at this price point buy a Springfield

1 year agoLove this gun! It's my 4th semi-auto and the first one to be reliable out of the gate. All the others, Springfield, Sig, Walther, needed some break in period, or have had issues misfeeding, jamming, etc. This gun has taken over 600 rounds so far and has not had a single malfunction, with 2 different kinds of ammo. American Eagle and Magtech. It's got some weight to it which reduces recoil. That and the crisp trigger make this a very accurate gun. I was worried about the stainless finish having … Read More

1 year agoThis is the second SR1911Ruger I have purchased . My son loved shooting mine every time we went to the range , so much , I barely got to shoot it. The second one was a Birthday gift to him . The gun is flawless in appearance , and action , is perfect . Love this pistol , all who buy one will too.

1 year agoAccurate and tough as nails. 1000 plus rounds through it since it was bought and it shoots better now than when I first got it

1 year agoFirst off I shopped for a good while and finally settled on grabAgun for the best possible deal, shipping was fast and the product was pristine, second- three bullseye’s right out the gate, a nice dime sized group, which is just about a 45 cal in diameter, fit and finish was outstanding.

1 year agoThis purchase took about 9 months of research and test shooting before I decided to buy it. I’m glad I went with Ruger and not the other, more expensive ones. This gun has the smoothest trigger and minimum recoil that my 9yr old has no problem shooting and handling this gun. Ruger outdid themselves with the 1911. I would highly recommend this gun for anyone that doesn’t want to pay over $1K for a 1911.

1 year agoCould not be happier with the SR1911. Fit and finish are excellent, and accuracy right out of the box was amazing. Cant go wrong for the priCe either. Would not hesitate to recommend this pistol to anyone.

1 year agoGreat gun so far. Only took it out once and put 200 rnd thru it, performed nicely. My biggest issue with it is the adjustable trigger hole.. It bit a piece out of my trigger finger after those 200 rnds that took a couple weeks to heal. I'm reading that I should polish it some with a conical dremel bit. Haven't tested it again yet. Very happy all in all!

1 year agoreally have enjoyed this 1911 so far. seems to function well. Traditional 1911 design at a very good price point. only oddity was that the last round in the mag occasionally ejects straight back, hitting the rim of my hat. So be sure to wear eye protection, of course!

1 year agoBeautiful pistol, shoots and functions remarkably well, but the stock trigger was loose and actually rattled in the frame. That was remedied with an aftermarket trigger.

1 year agoRuger has always been good on craftsmanship, they have not failed me yet. They also put an extra magazine in for their pistols unlike other competitors. I am very happy with my purchase and would purchase another one some day

1 year agoThis is the most accurate gun I own. I love this gun. My wife and her small hands had an issue firing it. I bought her the Ruger lcr INSTEAD but the 1911 is all mine. This gun is so beautiful to look At.

1 year agoThks gun shoots great! Great grouping and recoil is not that bad for a .45. No james with 100 bullets going thru it.
