It is a solid 10mm 1911 for the price. Fit and finish is good. It is accurate. Good sights. I have only put 2 boxes of S&B JHP and FMJ (100 rounds) and a mag of SIG 180 V-Crowns through it but so far no issues at all with function and it is a smooth shooter. I dropped a star as the trigger is lack luster when compared to my Kimber and Colt 1911s, but who gets a 1911 and doesn't do something to fiddle with it to make it better. The mag that came with it was crap and didn't hold open on the last round. Wilson Combat and Ed Brown mags work great and worth the money.

This is a great firearm. Fit and finish are top notch. Love the grips, shoots straight, runs smooth. Wish it came with at least one more magazine. All in all? It's a keeper

Good gun at a great price. Plus it has many nice features like g10 grips, fiber optic front sight nd a nice rear sight. Plus it has an ambitious safety which this old left hander prefers. The only reason I give 4 stars is that it arrived with the safety not working. The right side lever (for lefties) was disconnected! Contacted Palmetto and they told me to contact Armscor. The Rock Island Rock Ultra FS 10mm is a very solid 1911. I particularly appreciate the full-length one-piece guide rod and the ease of getting the slide off the frame for cleaning. The sights are very nice, the grips are comfortable and not too aggressive, the trigger pull is good, and the finish is fine. What's not to like? great 1911 pistol. Has all the go fast goodies already on it at a fantastic price. Right out of the box it gould use some polishing on a few parts, but it will break in after a few hundred rounds. Good quality and a very good value... and its a 10mm in case you meet any grizzlies! Lots of power in a semi auto..

Brand new out of the box this gun would not function at all. Magazine would not always lock in place and when it did, The slide would not close into foreposition. Tried a different manufacturer's makazine, guns functions well. Magazines are junk!!!

This is my first 10mm pistol and I love it! It is one sweet shooting 1911! So much fun to shoot and hardly seems to have the massive recoil one might expect from a firearm shooting the mighty 10mm cartridge. The pistol is very accurate, with a smooth action, plus I love the G10 grips. I think the price is right and I actually expected to pay a higher price for it. This a great shooting 1911 ! I am a big fan of the 10mm cartridge & this handgun fills the bill. Classic looks , smooth handing and the fiber optic front sight is a big plus. Highly recommend, especially at this price !

Solid gun. Mine has been perfect in function, empty brass is ejected into low earth orbit. Recoil has been very manageable due to the weight of the pistol. Disassembly/reassembly takes some getting used to. I would never feel under gunned carrying it.

First off, I'm 265 round into this pistol with zero malfunctions. Ammo was an assortment of 155grn to 200grn handloads, all on the upper side of 10mm velocity. Bullets were a mix of Hornady Critical defense, xtps, HAP, and TMJs. No issues with the factory, metal form 8rnd, or wilson 9rnd magazines. All controls operate smooth and positive. Trigger is fantastic. Sights are good but required some adjustment. Accuracy seems great. I was able to shoot a group on an 8" plate at 35yrds and fine

One of the best values for the money. Clean it. Oil it. Put a few rounds through it. Clean crisp trigger. Beautiful reset. It's solid and heavy enough to use as a defense weapon without ammo.

I have always wanted a 10 mm. Great gun have run over 600 rds. through it not a single issue. As always PSA have the best prices on all that they sell.
