Cimarron Model P .45 Long Colt 4.75″ Single Action Revolver – MP410
The 1873 peacemaker-style revolver, originally designed for the U.S. Cavalry, quickly became the archetypical sixgun of the frontier. Made in a number of powerful chamberings in different barrel lengths, besides the “peacemaker,” it was also known by other monikers like “hogleg,” smokewagon,” and “equalizer.” In civilian hands, it quickly earned a reputation as a rugged, hard hitting, well balanced revolver and outsold all competitors. Considered to be the most authentic and highest quality reproduction of the 1873 Colt, Cimarron’s replica was reproduced in every detail from an original 1873 single action in their antique collection, and was not replicated by working simply from drawings, as with previous reproductions. They also took extra steps to improve the guns reliability with their Cowboy Comp action which eliminates weaknesses associated with the 19th century design.

1 year agoThis is my 3rd Cimarron revolver i have bought from Grabagun. The quality of the firearms is impeccable and the service from Grabagun is the best around. In this time of anti gun attitudes and diminished supplys, i am amazed how great Grabagun is thank you for your awesome service.

1 year agoVery nice finish, the case color hardening looks amazing. I havent shot it yet but the gun is absolutely amazing.

1 year agoNot quite 5 stars but close. The finish is very good, and the case hardening better than I have typically seen from Uberti (who is the actual manufacturer). The action is smooth, just a little friction between the hammer and the frame needed to be smoothed out. I did not care for the medallion on the grip, and although the walnut was nice, I swapped out for a spare set of plain ones I had laying around. I will probably fashion a set of faux ivory grips to match another nearly identical gun.
