Outstanding 45 acp carry gun. Ported barrel mitigates recoil. Better ghan average trigger. As accurate and MANAGEABLE as my Shield Plus 9mm And a great value To boot. As usual grabagun was a pleasure to deal with. Guys in the coppell store just rock.

I bought this very gun. In 2018. The front Tritium sight fell out while I was at my Range, trying out my new gun. After about 30 rounds of factory loaded Winchester 45 ACP ammo, the front Tritium sight vial fell out. I immediately notified S&W. They sent me a new front sight. I switched to the XS F8 sight because it’s easier to see. I really like this gun! It feels really solid, and the porting works well on 45 ACP with a 31/4” Barrel.

I had never owned a ported weapon or a weapon with tritium sights. I happened across this on the site while looking for a new large caliber carry gun and thought what the hell. 1st off the M 2.0 grip is much improved, both the stippling and the pattern are better. The porting does seem to help with muzzle rise a bit, and it definitely looks cool. Honestly I don't know that I'd miss it if it weren't there. I need to find an unported version to compare. The tritium sight are amazing,

Terrific personnel protection weapon. The dynamic design of recoil and hold on target with a 45 is obvious result of performance engineering.

I love my Smith & Wesson 45 Shield Performance Center !! This is a great concealed carry weapon chambered in the proven 45acp round. This very close in size to my 9mm Shield and fits in some of the same holsters and when carrying the 45 Shield you can’t tell the difference between the two. This also handles all the different ammunitions run through it. The grip texture may seem a bit rough but using light pressure, and fine sandpaper , you can smooth out the texture to suit your liking. Very easy fix if you don’t want the rough texture.

I wanted to have an alternative to carrying my 1911, but I still wanted the power of 45ACP. This fit the bill perfectly. Its slim, lightweight and the grip texture is great. The Performance Center trigger is awesome and the ported barrel and slide make this 45 feel like a 9mm +P. Very light recoil for a small 45. I’m a sig guy and after 200 rnds through shield 45 PC it’s my edc now insanely accurate 6 inch grouping at 15 yrds

Performance center model comes with the ported barrel and slide, tritium night sights, and the trigger feels a little softer and smoother than other subcompacts I've used. Experienced some trouble feeding rounds the first 3 or 4 mags but after a good clean n lube its been perfect. Seriously a great gun, easily concealable, shoots great, and it a 45! Love this little gun!
