2 years agoTop of the heap. Nothing else compares...not even close. Love my SIG collection, and the mention of Glock is enough to put a tactical shooter into a full body dry heave. Go HK or die like a pig.

2 years agoThis gun just runs! It's built like a tank, and you can feel it the moment you pick it up. Honestly, it's one of the softest shooting .45 ACP's you'll ever shoot. I have friends who usually shoot strictly 9mm's and they've even said that this gun made them reconsider their stance on the cartridge. I don't have super large hands, and I'm able to easily grip this firearm and make accurate follow-up shots with ease. Yes, it's a little heavy. Yes, the mags can be expensive. Yes, it's expensive. Yes, yes, yes, you I've heard it all. But, once you pick this thing up and shoot it--you won't regret a single cent of your purchase. 2 years agoI am a "dedicated" 1911 .45 guy. I have 6 1911's. I have had a MK 23 for over 20 years. By far, it's the best pistol I have owned! I have never had a jam/misfire with this pistol. I am a retired Marine vet 21 years. Been shooting all my life. If I had one pistol to choose from it would be the MK 23. It's big... but is machined to perfection. If god made a better pistol, he kept it for himself. This pistol was a socom "standard" for years.

1 year agoGreat gun! Pricey but when you look at it's history you realize that it's the "ULTIMATE" 45 acp gun. It's classified as an "offencive" WEAPON. Very accurate.
