Excellent choice for me. Extremely accurate and great to shoot. Trigger pull is hard, but hopefully will loosen a little with more usage. A deffinate reccomend!!

The 686 plus is one of my favorite handguns. Great size to carry, use at the range and be a home defense gun. Heavy solid gun with elegant looks.

This was an on-line order. I refused to accept delivery at the store because the barrel was screwed in way out of alignment. SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE gave me a full refund. Strangely, earlier this year I bought a S&W 629 44 mag that is "ONE IN A THOUSAND" perfect. I have always been given exceptional customer service and will continue to shop at SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE.

This Revolver is gorgeous but don’t expect it to be perfect. Barrel was correctly aligned and that was my biggest concern. For the money it’s a great Revolver but don’t expect the finish to be as nice as the new Pythons. I was expecting the stainless to be more polished. There were a lot of blemishes that were easily visible.

Handles beautifully, did replace grips for Hogue, more comfort when shooting 357 magnum. Holsters very nice and is a good conceal carry gun.

The 686 plus is the perfect size. The fit and finish is very good. The plus makes it a 7 round small revolver that is a pleasure to shoot. And with a good holster easy to carry.

This is an amazing piece. Once it is in your hand, you know in a second that this is quality. In these days, this is a rare find, but if you can find it, buy it. This is surely the gun, that once you own it, you will never part from it. It will fire both 357 Mag as well as 38 special and this is particularly important in these times when ammo can be especially hard to find, in particular 357 Mag. When you see this gun in stock, don't hesitate, drop the cash and pick up this masterpiece!

Excellent revolver. 686 Plus Deluxe, 3" bbl. Very accurate both times I've taken it out for short range 7 yard shooting. Still not broken in with less than 100 rounds fired, all magnum loads. Only issue I need to figure out is that when shooting DA, gripping it slightly differently to reach the trigger for more leverage, the back of the grip tore a small chunk of skin of of my thumb near the web. So second time out I installed the black rubber grips which I had removed from my 4" 686 Plus to

Awesome revolver and a lot of fun to shoot. The wood grips look nice but my hand sits low on them so I order a super walnut boot grip from Altamont. Also the finish is not as polished as in the photo but still very nice.

I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet but overall the look the feel I just love it it’s a beautiful gun exactly what I expected out of a Smith and Wesson

This gun is a classic work of art. It reminds me of my Harley Davidson, there are more modern and higher tech bikes, and guns, but there’s something about the heft, the feel, american made steel that you can’t quantify on paper. This is a beautiful gun with its smooth action and rosewood grips, you would be proud to own one. I love my Glocks with their red dot or laser sights and mounted lights but this gun is old school at its best.

Great gun. Better as a wheel gun than a carry piece. Solid firearm, weight of the L-frame helps with .357 magnum rounds, and makes .38 hollow points a breeze to shoot.

I am impressed with my 686 Plus Deluxe. Very stable. Handles the recoil well. The grip is perfect for me. And it looks great! This model was not available thru any other dealer except Guns.com Delivery was quick. Very glad they are there.

If you love revolvers, then, Smith & Wesson is the way to go. The 686+ is perfect in feel and workmanship. If you have large hands like me, it will fit perfectly in your hand. Craftsmanship is outstanding. Totally recommend.
