I first bought the M&P Shield for conceal/carry, but have a hard time shooting because of large hands. This full-sized older brother feels great with the adjustable back straps. The trigger is supper smooth, with a long enough pull to let you know exactly when it's about to fire. Great gun!

Shoots great right out of the box. I’ve had a M&P Shield for several years and when I went to buy a full size pistol I knew the M&P system well and was not disappointed.

I really don’t like this M&P! Right out the box the slide is extremely hard to pull back. Yes! I’m an experienced gun guy and have many like it. But this must have a defect to it. I even had others say the same thing when pulling the slide back. I don’t know if this is normal for that gun, but it’s not for me. I got it because my girlfriend wanted one and it’s slim pickings at this point to find anything decent. I don’t recommend this gun unless you have a grip like Popeye! Lol

What's not to like? My entire experience with this S&W has been great. Once I got the correct back strap for me, it was like a glove that fit perfectly. I'm thinking of getting a 40 or 45 S&W now.

These have all of the things you need in a pistol. Capacity, reliability, accuracy, price , made in the USA. One of the best out of the box triggers you will find and well supported by the aftermarket for anything you might want to customize. I own 4 S&W's - 9mm - 40 (2) - and a zombie apocalypse 45... lol Thousands of police deptartments carry these. Stay safe and God bless America.

Love the gun! Feels great, shoots great...just can’t find ammo for it. Had we known 9mm ammo was so hard to find and purchase we would have chosen another gun.

Great gun. Extremely reliable. Accurate. Easy to clean. The one I own has a 5" barrel. For the money, this simply cannot be beat.

4.24 full size came with a 3.93 compact barrel and had to send back to Smith&Wesson with an eight week turn around. PSA took no responsibillity and offered no solutions. Trigger was terrible out of the box. Ergonomics are excellent. I'm sure with an aftermarket trigger it will be fine, I'll let you know in 7 weeks.

Feel, weight, look all 5 stars. Was looking at a Glock for CC and to fit a MCK. Well MCK makes kit for the S&W 10 stars. Glock one or two yr warranty S&W life time for original owner 20 stars.

I have the Performance Center, C.O.R.E. optics ready model and really like it. I topped mine with a Holosun 503c red dot. My only beef is that when I got it, my iron sights were way off and I had to take it back to the shop twice to get it re-adjusted. You might wonder why I care since I put a red dot on it. Fits the hand comfortably and you don’t even feel the weight or recoil. Great reliable gun. I’ve only put 300 rounds thru it but not one single problem.

It's a great gun, flat shooting, and reliable. I was looking for a full sized 9mm, but didn't need all the hype, or extra money that it costs. The grip is on point, and with the exception of the sights (white dot, not my favorite, but they work) there is nothing bad I can say about it. Shipping was fast, the price was awesome, and I don't use a red dot so it not being pre-cut works fine for me. I've put about 600 rounds through it so far right out of the box, no cleaning and no oil, and no jams, hang ups, or failure to feed. It's a freaking workhorse.

Great pistol. The magazines are interchangeable with the 5”, 4” & 3.6”. I have been shooting & carrying this pistol for about two years now. Has fed all types of ammo from brass, steel & aluminum, to hollow points. No feeding issues or failure to extract. The trigger is far better than the original M&P, but I chose to upgrade it with an Apex. Personal preference, not a must. I can not say enough good about this guy.
