Barnes VOR-TX is precision ammunition loaded with the deadliest bullets on the planet. Barnes, the leader in bullet innovation offers hunters the ultimate in accuracy, terminal performance and hand loaded precision in a factory loaded round. Offering double-diameter expansion, maximum weight retention and excellent accuracy, the TSX, Tipped TSX, and TSX FN provide maximum tissue and bone destruction, pass-through penetration and devastating energy transfer. Multiple grooves in the bullet’s shank reduce pressure and improve accuracy. Barnes all-copper bullets open instantly on contact – no other bullet expands as quickly. Nose peels back into four sharp-edged copper petals destroying tissue, bone and vital organs for a quick, humane kill.

  • Bullet profile ensures flawless function and feeding in AR-style rifles, the cavity provides for rapid expansion, devastating energy transfer, an excellent choice for whitetail, hogs and defense initiatives
  • Specially engineered nose cavity expands rapidly, tremendous energy dump shocks the animal’s system, causing major disruption to vital organs
  • All copper design retains nearly all of the bullet’s weight for deep, pass-through penetration, maximum destruction of tissue, bones and vital organs for DRT performance

I haven't shot w/them yet, but, I'm anxious to! They haven't been available anywhere else but on GAG!

I had 2 shells back to back fail to fire out of a new box. Cost me a caribou. Now the remainder is just range ammo.

Love it, very close velocity numbers on all shots tested, VERY nice groups, I am now shooting Barnes in all my rifles.

It was very consistent while zeroing in with the rounds. I used it for this hunting season and it killed the white tail buck I was after. Solid impact and he went down quick.

First non lead ammo I have used. I harvested a nice buck with it. Very impressed with this stuff. Accurate and dropped my buck in its tracks.

Good groups from my custom built Mauser action -06 with Hart barrel. Pass through on cow elk at 260 yds and she dropped.

THE BARNES 165 GRAIN IS A SUPERIOR LOADING FOR MY 700 ADL REMINGTON WITH GROUPS AT 3/4” I AM SURE THEY COULD BE MOA BECAUSE OF MY AGE, THESE ARE THREE SHOT GROUPS, BECAUSE I HAVE A SPORTER BARREL WICH HEATS UP AND STARTS TO STRINGING SHOTS ????????????

I switched to this ammo a couple of years ago. It shoots way better out of my rifle than the ammo I was using. I also appreciate that it is non-toxic. I don't like the price, but that is definitely minor compared to the advantages.
