1 year agoI'd give it a six, but they only have 5 stars to fill out! Super accurate and consistent in my Cooper m52 30-06! For the newbies that don't hand load, try out a few choices and see what shoots best in YOUR rifle! Good Luck, for me this is a keeper!

1 year agoTook a bull elk with this bullet in September. It looked like perfect weight retention. Exit hole was about 2X the original bullet diameter, maybe a bit larger just as advertised. Minimal meat damage, no lead or blood shot meat to worry about with good shot placement. Elk turned and staggered about 20 yards before dropping.

1 year agoAccurate and very dependable I have used Barnes’s ammo for years. Deer elk and wild boar drop right away.

1 year agoBarnes VOR-TX 30.06 180 grain cartridge is very consistent in my Bergara B-14 Hunter rifle at the range from 50-300 yards. Scope is zeroed for 200 yards, shooting about 2 inches high at 100 yards. Shot a cow elk at 100 yards which ran about 50 yards before dropping. Copper bullet avoids issues with lead.

1 year agoThis is an outstanding ammo. I have taken black bear, bison, and elk with this load. One shot kill on every hunt.
