Well, it is a big deal when you have a fully machined steel frame 1911 in three configurations, with a carry optics option or a match option, that comes priced similar to the “big name” guy’s basic model. So, before you “buy a name” and pay too much, take a look at the EAA/Girsan 1911 line up and don’t forget, they have a limited lifetime warranty.

SHAWN M.
1 year agoTends to have failures to extract/feed on the last round even with Wilson Combat Magazines and after 500 round break in period. Had to replace slide stop with aftermarket stop since the one that came with it was out of spec and wasn't compatible with Wilson Combat or other 1911 mags. For a range gun, it's fine. Shoots accurately and is fun due to its weight.

1 year agoI bought the one in two tone. No issues so far and the finish is impressive. Also have a comparable Rock Island 9mm and it's fine too but side by side just for workmanship, the rock island looks like it's price point. my girsan looks like much better quality...as far as the fit/finish.
