I patterned these Super-X in HEAVY game loads and got the best pattern ever from my 12ga shotgun, now I am confident on 41yd shots using #7-1/2 or #8 shot. Only thing I noticed was barrel was a bit dirtier than when I use AA's, this caused NO problems.

12 gauge, 2 3/4", 1290fps, 8 I ran these through my Benelli Super Vinci without a problem. I mixed one round AAs and one round of these, the gun couldn't tell the difference, and neither could I. These Super X ejected with no problem and had enough inertia to load the second round without a problem. Shattered the clays consistently, so I was pleased.

I have had excellent performance with these loads when used in my Browning Maxus, Silver and BPS 12 ga shotguns when used for their intended small game hunting purposes. If you're looking for a low cost and/or low recoil small game hunting load, these shells will carry the ball for squirrel and rabbit in no. 6 shot size, also for grouse and woodcock in no. 7-1/2 or no. 8 shot size. I had ONE failure to feed in my Silver when it was brand new, was shooting the first box of shells ever in it, and the lip around the crimp just barely hung up below the chamber while feeding from carrier. No problems since. I'll chalk it up to break-in.

Most underrated shotshell, Clean burning, consistent patterns, hard hitting. I wish it was easier to find.

I've been using this product for a couple of year to shoot Quail in California, since many areas are now regulated to using lead free shot. It shoots a little different since it has a very fast initial velocity. I've had no problems using these to take Quail all the way out in the 40-50 yrd range.

I have been using Xpert ammo for over 10 years now and it is and always will be my go to ammo for ducks. I have never had an issue with this product and it patterns perfectly in my Winchester SX3

Taken coyotes out to 51yds so far. Patterns better for me in my Benelli SB2 than Dead Coyote. Wish I could find it locally in stores.

I’ve been shooting the super x heavy game load in various shot sizes for many years. Shot many a squirrel and dove with these shells as they’re about the only ones I’ll use. I have been more than happy with them, and will continue to use them

Will do the job without emptying your wallet. Called in a flock of fall gobbles and jakes, first one that stuck his neck out, dropped the hammer. Turkey dinner was in the bag.

50 yd 3 shot group averaged 2" from my Steven's 301 20ga using a Bushnell Tac-Optics Lil P Prism 1x11mm & Winchester Super-X 20ga 2 3/4" 3/4oz Foster Slugs. Impressed with the accuracy of the 3/4oz slugs. 2 slugs were in the same hole & 1 slug 2" to the left. That's plenty good enough for close up deer hunting inside of 50 yds. However, these shells were the dirtiest shells I've ever shot & I shoot a lot. I am a huge fan of Winchester Ammunition but the amount of powder fouling inside the barrel was extreme. I am disappointed in Winchester for using such a low grade powder to foul up a barrel to that degree. Normal cleaning from a range shotgun sight-in is 1 wet patch followed by 5-6 dry patches. This took over 20 dry patches & 4 wet patches & its still not all out. My recommendation to Winchester is to use cleaner burning powder in all of there ammo, even if U have to charge a tad more for the ammo. I've built & own my private rifle range 20 yrs ago. And this ammo was at the top of the list for being dirty, just like the old Russian ammo back in the day. I'm sure cleaner burning ammo with the same velocities will produce the same accurate results at the range or in the field. I give this ammo a 5 star rating only b/c of its accuracy & reliability. Even though its a 1 star for dirty burning powder, I still would recommend it, until they can change over to a cleaner burning powder. Deer Man Out

This is a good load for upland game like rabbits, squirrels, and grouse. #6 shot takes em down w/ no problems.

I purchased several cases of shells and several boxes were missing. I called for help and BassPro was great at making my order complete. Much appreciated!

I have been using Winchester shot shells for sporting clays and trap for a long while and find them high quality and consistent. Never have to worry about pore performance.

Incredible performance and groupings shot from my Browning Cynergy using Longbeard XR chokes. 140 pellets in the kill zone at 25 yds.

The product is good. Customer service sucks and received 250 rds all 10 boxes dumped out. Ridiculous

I like these for small game and small birds when hunting in areas where steel shot is required. Good for doves, quail, and squirrels.

I just purchased a shotgun that recommended a shot velocity of 1300 fps or higher otherwise there could be issues with ejection. These shells are rated at 1290 but I took a "shot" at trying them and they worked very well. :)

Growing up in Iowa all we had when I was a kid was a shotgun slug only whitetail season, so I've been using Winchester 2-3/4-inch rifled slugs out of a 20-inch Remington 870 smoothbore slug barrel for about 35 years now. I sometimes still have occasion to hunt with slugs in some of Montana's weapons restricted areas. Out of my shotgun, these slugs turn in excellent groups at 25, 50, and 75 yards, good enough that I put a saddle mount and 3x scope on the 870 for slug hunting. Put them where you're supposed to and terminal performance is indeed just that on whitetails and mulies.

I bought three boxes of Winchester super X 12 gauge 3 inch 4shot. 4 shells dented the primer and did not fire. Very frustrating when the bird gets up and you hear "click". Then you have to keep the gun up in case there is a hang fire.

The 2.75 inch BRI Sabot slugs are consistantly able to group 4 inches at 80 yards from my model 1300 slug gun with fully rifled barrel. I've killed more than 30 deer with them without ever a fail including the Boone and Crockett buck pictured here. Simply the best.
