Ruger Security-380 Semi-Auto Pistol

Good fit for CC, both men and women. Reliably cycled two different brands of ammo at the range (two boxes) with no jams or misfires. Love it.

Ordered the Ruger Security 380 online, took it home 6 days later. Returned it to the store the next day because, per the "gun experts" at Bass Pro Shops it had a "Dead Trigger". They indicated that they had to send it to the manufacturer for repair...3 weeks ago.

shoots smooth and easy. The Light rack is excellent. Sight works well and easy to see. I like the included magazine loader

Great design, longer magazine gives better, fuller hand grip, new take down pin is easy...one sided procedure ( over EC9s) to strip for cleaning...not a full-size pistol, but no compact gun. Very good accuracy w range practice! Super small guns are like trying to hold onto a flip phone w normal or large hands...lol!

I have owned DOZENS of pistols. I currently have 11 including Glocks, Sigs, Colts and this little gun is by far my favorite to shoot. My nightstand gun was a 19X .. it's been replaced by this one with Underwood Extreme Penetrator ammo. Watch video's on the Underwood, it will out perform a lot of 9MM in penetration and wound channel and in this package the recoil is not much more than a .22 make it a much better choice should my wife have to use it. 500 round thru it so far and not a single failure and extremely accurate. It's a winner.

The Ruger Security 380 is an excellent weapon for concealed carry or home defense purposes. A few hundred rounds with no problems. After two years of reviewing pro’s and con’s of a variety of compact pistols; this, I believe, was a very wise choice!

Ruger a great product the gun shoots good is accurate it is easy to rack and fits the hand great. It was supposed to come with two magazines a 10 &15 round mine just had 1 10 round.?

Comparable to my Bersa Thunder Plus & Combat Thunder Plus. Easy to shoot, rack and has good ergos... the only issue is getting 15-rd mags! Out of stock EVERYWHERE - even at Ruger! C'mon MAN!!!!

Great trigger. Great sights. Easy to rack. Low recoil. Conceals easily. 15 round magazine. Looks great. You owe it to yourself to check out this gun.

This gun is such a great choice for recoil sensitive people. Great grip with both the 10 and 15 round mags. My wife finally owns a gun that she enjoys to shoot.

Just got back from the first trip to the range. 200 rounds. tried multiple defensive loads. 100% reliable. Easy to shoot. Easy to manipulate. It’s a winner so far.

Really enjoy target shooting with this gun. I would feel comfortable using it as a self-defense pistol. You might meet people who say 380 doesn't have enough stopping power, but it just depends on the ammo you buy. Wilson Combat/Lehigh make great self-defense ammo if you're worried about that. Only had one failure to feed right out of the box. Otherwise, has a smooth action and seems reliable. Very compact with minimal recoil.

This firearm speaks for itself. Super easy to load, rack, and fire. Initially shot about 150 rounds with no problems. I shot Winchester Target, and Lawmakers rounds. Easy to clean and Cabela made so easy to order Online and picking it up at Cabela’s. Very Professional and Courteous.

The ruger 380 security EZ is a fabulous gun. So EZ to move the slide, EZ to load clips etc, worth every penny!

I purchased this for my LTC/carry gun and I absolutely love it! It is smooth working, easy to shoot/handle, and the recoil is not severe at all. I actually really enjoy shooting this gun, and as a woman I used reviews from others that said their wives enjoyed shooting this as well. GREAT buy for the money, would totally recommend!

Awesome .380! I have carried a subcompact for years and was wanting something a little larger, but still a .380 (which is basically a small 9mm). This is perfect! It's still lightweight, very concealable, and with a 15-round magazine it carries more than twice what my other .380 does. I highly recommend it!
