I bought this gun from Cabela’s in Buda, Texas on Thanksgiving of 2022. It is my favorite pistol to take to the range. I must have put at least 700 rounds on it and no issues at all.

It is an exceptionally crafted pistol It will definitely up your game and give you more than a few looks at the range.

Poor quality! The lower rattles when it is shaken, there is something loose and it was not assembled correctly. After a couple of hundred rounds through the weapon the trigger started feeling sloppy/mushy and then started to not resetting the trigger for the next round when fired. Fortunately, I had another Ruger 22/45 lower that I fully rebuilt using Volquartsen parts so I moved the upper to it and it operates flawlessly. Volquartsen makes some very nice stuff, but this weapon fell far short of what I expected.

I purchased the 6" Mamba-X as a target pistol for reliable function, and found the gun stunningly easy to shoot. In my first outing, I was shooting sub-1" groups at 10 yards straight out of the box. The optics in this package are lovely, and finding the dot was easy with the close-mounting of the Mamba X.
I was so impressed with this pistol, I traded back 2 other of my 22 LRs for a 4.5" version. I now own 2 Volquartsens. It's hard to describe just how fun this gun is. At this point, I've put about 4000 rounds through both versions, and haven't had a single failure. My buddies and family members have been universal in praise for this pistol. My brother-in-law picked it up and immediately shot 1" groups, something he had never done. The ease of use, complete lack of recoil, stunning ergonomics, 100% reliable operation, and fabulous integration of optics make this a standout target pistol. I've never shot or owned anything this nice. Worth every penny.

Can't say enough good things about this handgun. Sweet-shooting and amazingly accurate right out of the box. We're hitting steel at 70 yards free hand without having to sight in the optics. Buy lots of ammo, because you're going to run it through this baby.
