5.56X45MM NATO 77GR TIPPED MATCHKING AMMO – 5.56x45mm NATO 77gr TMK 50/Box

This ammo makes the 5.56 / .223 a viable defense cartridge. It is very accurate out to any reasonable defense range. The combination of the ballistic tip and the greater weight makes it great when there is a little wind to deal with. Holds well at distance and has explosive impact under 100 yards. No exit wound. The energy and what is left ( not much ) of the bullet stays inside. I wish it was not so hard to find.

Nothing beats Black Hills. I keep a number of mags loaded with this round and all of my .223/5.56 AR Pistols & Rifles have this round locked and loaded.. Its super accurate and reliable in every AR I own (9 barrel, 10 1/2 barrel, 16 barrel). I use it for Home/Personal Defense, knowing it will perform superbly. Shooting .3 - .4 MOA out of an spr with a Krieger barrel at 100 yards. This is extremely accurate ammunition, the 77 grain tipped match king bullet is hard to handload because it is even longer than the standard 77 grain match king but black hills has done it again. In addition with a ballistic tip this round has incredible terminal performance
