Nosler Expansion-Tip ammunition is loaded up front with the high-performance, lead-free, E-Tip hunting bullet. The E-Tip bullet combines uniform expansion with 95%+ weight retention for superior penetration and excellent terminal performance on all types of big game. Upon impact, Nosler’s exclusive E2 Cavity [Energy Expansion Cavity] allows for immediate and uniform expansion, yet retains 95% weight for improved penetration. The E2 Cavity provides amazing stopping power and peerless penetration over a broad spectrum of impact velocities, rivaling even the highest quality lead-core bullets.
- Signature OD green polymer tip – Nosler’s advanced polymer tip initiates expansion while delivering unsurpassed penetration and weight retention
- ECR – the expansion control ring insures controlled expansion at a wide range of velocities and conditions, making the E-Tip very versatile
- E2 cavity – the exclusive energy expansion cavity provides a dual-expansion chamber for amazing stopping power and uniform expansion with 95%+ weight retention for superior penetration
- Solid copper alloy construction – Nosler’s 1-piece design meets all “lead-free” hunting regulations
- Boat tail design – boat tail configuration combines with the streamlined polymer tip for extreme long-range performance and for easier loading

1 year agoVelocity is between 2780 fps. and 3025 fps in my rifle. Shooting good groups at 300 yds. (With no wind). I just wanted to test these against a load I am having trouble with at my reloading bench. Seems to me these 7mm. remington mag. factory rounds are good enough to hunt with inside 500 yards if there is no wind. Mild wind (aprox. 15 - 20 mph.) at the public range made it hard to get good groups at 300 yds.

1 year agoI bought E-tips due to my state changing to "no lead bullets." I took these copper bullets to the range and tried them out. They shot a nice tight group. I used them to take a huge Roosevelt elk in north western California. They performed well. I recovered a bullet while butchering the animal. It looked to be mostly (or completely) there. I didn't weigh it to check. It is petaled back as in Nosler's pictures.
