Great things really do come in small packages. Although just 1 ¾-inch long, new Shorty shotshells offer similar patterns, energy and accuracy as full-size counterparts. Shorty shells add additional capacity to your shotgun making them perfect for a day at the range or for home defense.

I bought these with the intent to use for home defense, but had to try them out. The are great, patterns pretty well up to 10-15 yards. Very low recoil and my wife doesn't mind shooting either.

My wife just loved them because of low recoil. She shot them in my Maverick 88 standing at 25y target and all 10 rounds under 6 inch group. The only problem is when you pump the next cartridge it sometimes don't align properly because of smaller size. So go slow as we should with guns.

these little babies pack a punch and you can carry a bunch of them perfect for what they were meant for but wont cycle in a mossberg with out an adapter which are cheap

These work well in a Winchester 1300, they are crimped a bit differently which improves functioning over the Aguila Mini shell. They both function fine feeding (although I have heard you need an inexpensive adapter for some brands of shotguns) The Aguila uses a standard crimp so on firing it opens like a normal shotgun shell and the crimp opening is slightly larger than the body. The problem is the breach opening on the 1300 narrows as it goes back. Normally the larger crimp opening is at the wider end of the breach so no problem. Since the Aguila is shorter the wider crimp opening is towards the narrower end, and sometimes they hang up. The Federal uses a straight in crimp so on firing, the crimp opening is still the same size as the shell body body so no hang-ups. this may just be an idiosyncrasy of the 1300 but something to be aware of. Both work great in Double barrel guns. The recoil and Report are reduced which is a plus for me.

Great ammo, less recoil then a 2 3/4 shell and a good price. When shooting these I had to but each shell in the chamber by hand because they did not cycle correctly.

Great Ammo! cycles good in Maverick 88 and Mossberg 500. But you need to get a OpSol mini-clip. Easy in easy out rubber piece that lets you cycle with no problem. And you get more in the magazine. Mini-clip Fits: 12ga Mossberg 500,590,590A1, and Maverick 88. Bird shot, Buckshot, and slug shells

Great little shell but don't say how many your shotgun will hold, the government may come for it. EAT IT JUSTIN

Mini shells work great no misfires or jams. Only issue is for Bass Pro to get more stock in with a variety of buck and slug rounds.

Great product. They won't work in all pump shotguns, but they work great in a side by side coach gun. Low recoil, yet a very useful load for self defense ranges, such as in a house.

The Federal Shorty Buckshot Shotgun Shells arrived well packaged. They work well in the Maverick 88 with the OpSol mini-clip adapter. With the reduced recoil they work well as a training aid for my granddaughter to reduce the recoil as she starts her learning process.

This shotgun ammo has much less felt recoil than standard buckshot shells. The Remmington 870 Express required loading each shell by hand, with the action open. Fired shells need to be carefully plucked out of the open shotgun action. At 18 feet it patterns 5 inches wide with a 18 inch smoothbore barrel with an improved choke. If your recoil sensitive and don't mind loading your Remmington shotgun by hand this might be the ammo for you. Apparently the "OPSol Mini-Clip 2.0 Flex" for Mossberg/Maverick shotguns allows you load, fire and eject the shells just like a regular pump-action.

Federal 1.75 inch shotshells are a great product. I like that Bass Pro had them in stock, the shorties are hard to find these days, so, it's nice that you apparently have the buying power to keep them in stock. Try to get some Aguila 1.75 inch slug and shotshells too.

Awesome. Definitely buy them if you just want to have fun shooting more rounds out of any tube fed shotgun

i bought several boxes of these for my KSG. since shooting them i have a lot of white buffer material in my feed tubes and has caused issues with my followers not pushing shells out. they are low recoil which is nice but the issues they caused IS NOT WORTH IT.

Great product in a small package. It has the same impact of a 2.75 shell but easier on the shoulder when out on the range.
