1 year agoI highly suggest if you have the cash or better yet plastic just buy it. It is one of the finest 10mm pistols you can own. Highly accurate, an incredibly short reset trigger, match grade barrel, decocking lever which I've never had on a gun and find it very cool for carrying in con 1. One thing though is it's hard to find a holster for it due to the extra 1 inch barrel length but I found one at Diamond D Custom Leather for a reasonable price.

1 year agoPerfect Customer Service. They located the 10mm and shipped it quickly. I really enjoy the X-Raye Night Sights. I will deal with this company again in the future!

1 year agoThis weapon has a very high price tag, but its quality is very, very good. The DA trigger is great, and the single action even better. It is very heavy, but this helps to offset the 10 mm recoil. The fit and finish is superb, and the night sights are amazing. The second shot capability is very good. The company is great. They shipped fast, and their prices are very competitive.

1 year agoGreat gun! Tames the 10mm with the weight. Paired with a green LASER/flashlight combo, it is my nightstand gun.

1 year agoI've been shooting for years, but only recently got into 10mm. This is also my first gun review. after running about 1000 rounds through a colt delta elite 10mm, my research landed me on this P220 Legion as my 2nd 10mm purchase, and I couldn't be happier. The P220 Legion feels solid in the hand, there's no play in the slide, barrel or recoil guide. It cycled through 250 rounds of 180 grains with no technical issues. The finish is slick, in that a bit of 30W oil sticks to the … Read More

1 year agoThe best 10mm pistol. Well-designed, beautiful, strong, reliable, and accurate. Sig Sauer continues to deliver. Don't buy a lightweight 10mm pistol with a polymer frame. Buy all-steel and be more comfortable and accurate. The Sig 220r5-10-LEGION pistol is a 44 oz. steel masterpiece that you will be proud to own. Paying a little more for this top pistol is worth it.

1 year agoThis gun screams quality in every aspect. It actually has a really nice sao trigger in it. I do hope the good folks at Sig put some of these out with the adjustable flat trigger. Accurate 10mm but im still going to have flat adjustable trigger put in it with a single stage job. Overall No regrets here worth every penny.

1 year agoRecently purchased this for primary carry in bear country in Wyoming when hiking. I also own the P220 Legion in 45ACP. Legions are great. Started breaking it in and have fired about 250 rounds without any feed or ejection issues. Given the steel frame and additional weight compared to the P220-45, the recoil on the P220-10mm is less than expected. I have even fired the pistol single handed to assure I could control it if I have fallen back on the ground with a bear on top of me. Hope that never happens. This is really a pistol that deserves high praise.

1 year agoI was at the range with my cousin,he's a little older than me and he's made some questionable moments in gun buys, like the .500 magnum which is a nail driver if you hold it by the barrel. Anyway he had a weapon in 10mm,it was loud and I knew the first ones from the 80s,the Bren 10,and Colts Delta Elite.I tried his Sig out for 20 minutes, I love the kick or lack of,and I expected a .44 mag recoil and I'm glad it didn't get it.My EDC is a P320C 9mm and every Sig I've used or owned all were … Read More

1 year agoHave the P220 Equinox .45 ACP, have been looking for a 10mm to replace a different one I use to have in polymer frame and really did not enjoy shooting. By chance I found a P220 Legion 10mm SAO in a local shop. I made the purchase and headed to the range. Very enjoyable to shoot vs polymer frame 10mm’s I have shot and owned. Very accurate out of the box and no issues with FMJ or JHP I shot. My only issue is trying to find a quality retention holster to be part of my carry rotation.

1 year agoI've been looking for this gun for months. It is great to shoot. Recoil is not a problem, because of the weight of the pistol. Follow up shots are right on target. A solid, well built pistol. Once you register your Legion, Sig sends you a case and a coin. It is a pricey gun, but i feel like it will keep it's value.

1 year agoI have both the .45 and the 10mm and they are nothing short of amazing. I have quite a few p220's and the legion is better than the rest. In .45 it's an absolute tack driver. In 10mm it's a laser. It's all the benefits of a 1911 without any of its faults. With the 10mm I can hit a spray can bottle at 100yds. I couldn't come close with my friends polymer gun. And when you shoot the two side by side, you feel the difference how each gun handles such a powerful round. Don't let the "muh capacity" folks fool you. It's hard to miss with the p220. 8+1 will do just fine.
