2 years agoThe Winchester 12ga and 20ga shotgun ammo was a great purchase from Cabela's. The ammo seems to fire pretty clean and functions very well in my shotgun.

2 years agothis is the only ammo that my cantilever barrel likes without breaking my pockets. i have the Mossberg 835 deer and turkey combo, and the cantilever barrel doesn't like 2 3/4" shells from Winchester but loves the 3"

2 years agoIt was reasonably priced and shipped quickly. Purchased it because no one else in the area had 20 gauge ammo of any kind.
Lucky Shot
2 years agoAbout the same as Remington. Did have one shell "stick" in the chamber. 20 ga. is just as effective as 12 ga. with less "kick" I'll stick with my 20 ga.

2 years agoI've used the Winchester Super-X Rifled Slug for 22 years now and have never been disappointed. One-shot-one-kill with the longest distance being 72.5 yards. Use them in a Remington 870 slug gun which I call the hammer.

1 year agoHave been using the Winchester slugs for decades as nothing else ever came close to reliability for accuracy from my shotgun.

1 year agoI had 3 out of 50 that didn’t fire out of my semi automatic shotty! Other than that get your shoulder ready!

1 year agoI have harvested 3 deer over the last two years with these slugs. None of the deer had an exit hole and resulted in very little bleeding (hard to follow blood trail), however none of the deer went farther than about 50 yards. Shot placement and range was good on all the deer. I'll be trying a different slug next time around.

1 year agoI've been buying and using these 12ga Rifled Slugs for years now and they have NOT failed me yet. They are very accurate out to 100-150 yds from a 24" barrel. I use them mainly for Steel Target shooting but I know they will work just as well on game.

1 year agoThese are long time used in my shotguns, got kick but not shoulder breaking and never have a problem with them.

1 year agoI haven't used a slug gun for some time. I've always used a rifle. I bought the 12 gauge 2-3/4 1 oz slugs and was shocked to see one large ragged hole in the bullseye on my 50 yard target from 3 shots. I moved out to 100 and had a 3" 3 shot group. I'm ordering a case today.
STEVEN
1 year agoGood for my 28" smooth bore Mossberg 500. Shot a couple boxes out to 25 yds just to try them out at my local range and was impressed with how easily they stacked up.

1 year agoShoots 4.5" grp's at 100 yds, 3 shot grp's with my Steven's 301 12ga Turkey shotgun with a Bushnell lip-p prism 1x11mm circle dot sight & an improved Cylinder choke tube installed. burns dirty & heavy on the lead fouling. That's the reason for the 4 stars. if it would have burned clean & not fouled the barrel, a 5 star would have been posted. Yes, I still would recommend to a friend. For the accuracy, I guess I can deal with the cleaning.
JOE
1 year agoI actually have not shot any of them yet I'll let you know in the near future as soon as I do. Grab-a gun has been great with their service!!! I'll be back

1 year agoWhat is more intimidating and devastating than a 12 gauge slug? Ummm - nothing. This slug is one of the most powerful I’ve fired - using mossberg 590 shockwave and Toros t4 semi-auto 12 gauge. Excellent performance - straight sure flight and ginormous holes in the target.

1 year agoUsed this exact ammo on hogs shot 3 hogs 1 shot kills devastating knock on down power shot all in large herd they all dropped where stood hogs ranged in size from 89 to 165 lbs they're all about 45 yards

1 year agoWhen i was limited to slug use only, the go to ammo was winchester from Pa to Fla. ive killed more deer with Win slugS than most hunters have seen in the woods.. you cant go wrong with winchester Slugs. Nothing i dont like about Win. Slugs

1 year agoThese slugs add a new level of smiles to a 12-gage shot gun. They light up the lane in the indoor range, too.
