1 year agoI was excited enough with the modern updated SIG P225-A1 in 9mm that I bought one. I found it is again ammo sensitive. It does not like reloads & SIG only recommends new factory ammo. I should run a few more boxes of ammo off at the range for break in time. I haven't tried SIG's own factory ammo yet. My first SIG was a used West German P6 in 9mm & I was very impressed with it. However, it does not feed hollow point ammo well. Again, use only new factory ball ammo well as recommended by SIG manufacture.

1 year agoI really like this p225-A1. It shoots 124 and 147 gr . bullets best for me. My reloads shoot excellent for me. Once again, 124 and 147gr. I like the Hornady 147gr. FMJ and Hornady124gr FMJ bullets. The 147 gr XTP is what I carry. The Hornady bullets have a bevel base that helps reloading. But the Speer in the same weight work very good too. I found WSF to be a very good powder for reloading the 9mm in this pistol. I could not say a bad thing about this weapon. It's very accurate and a pleasure to carry.
