1 year agoI had no experience with a 1911. Found one slightly used with Hogue grips and all the original box, literature, grips, etc.Compared to the other, smaller caliber guns, it was a blast. Very accurate, light trigger pull and I would extend the slide release a hair. Short thumb. It is for self protection, but could easily compete with other shooters/ weapons. Very managable weapon!

1 year agoI recently purchased this pistol from GAG. Ordered on Saturday and arrived Tuesday. I have owned several 1911s in the past and this one compares to some of the best. Slide to frame and barrel to bushing fit is as good as my Kimber. The trigger is heavier than what I am used to but imagine it will improve with use. It has cycled perfectly with all ammo that I have tried, even my low power reloads. So far have nothing but good experiences with it. The only thing I would like to see is an adjustable rear sight. That is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

1 year agoIt's early, but I have put 100 rounds through it yesterday without any issues. I have shot a few magazines through a friends high end 1911 before, but this is my first time owning one. I could justify spending big bucks for one, but really wanted one badly. There are a few cheaper, but I was impressed with the forged parts and the matched frame, slide, and barrels. Mine was smooth as silk right out of the box. I field striped it and wiped excess oil, but didn't actually clean it. It was

1 year agoI bought this 1911 45 after some research & reviews from my trusted reviewers. I had tritium sights installed by a trusted gunsmith. I disassembled it,, lubed the usual spots & put new grips on. I put 250 rounds through it, 25 being JHP defensive rounds. All 230gr. Not one failure. It is accurate & reliable at half the price of my S&am...Read More Read more about review stating Taurus 1911 45

1 year agoGreat buy for the money. Description was spot on, rating was about what I would have rated it as used firearm. Slide is a little looser than I personally like but I have seen, Smith &Wesson, Ruger and Colt 1911’s brand new that had the same looseness. It shoots great, love the factory ambi safety, I wish they had put factory night sights but b...Read More Read more about review stating Very solid 1911

1 year agoI purchased this gun in 2020 and have put over 1,000 rounds through it with no problems what so ever. I've always wanted a 1911 since I was a kid and with the help of my uncle that is a retired Marine I picked this one out and couldn't be happier. It is worth every penny

1 year agoI thought the website was too good to be true but it is in fact a reliable source. I received it within days from a FFL and I was not disappointed. Highly recommend.
