2 years agoGreat pistol for $209 plus transfer fee of $25 best bargain out there! Great all purpose firearm concealed carry night stand gun or glove box gun it's small and light enough for every day Carry and durable enoughto be a truck gun!

2 years agoOverall this pistol is built well it takes down easy. And hasn't really had any issues with ammo. Except the polished maxxtech I purchased from PSA after I bought the gun. It only jammed once didn't eject a casing. It has no issues with brass whatsoever. And it is very accurate it is a little too heavy but that's to be expected with the slide style and polymer grip. Overall very satisfied. Will buy another one.

2 years agoBought this bad boy 2 weeks ago as my first handgun based on hundreds of positive reviews...and the price of course! Went to pick it from the gun store I had it shipped to. The guy next to me gave me a stink eye as he was picking up his kimber micro 9 as if I was picking up a piece of crap. That didn't phase me though. Took it to the range on Sunday March 12th put 300 rounds of mixed 9mm ammo (Polymer-tip 80 grain inceptor ammo American Eagle 115 grain fmj PMC bronze etc) and not a single

1 year agoIt does exactly what it is supposed to when it is supposed to. What more can you ask for? I don't understand the whole hoopla over the trigger. It is not designed to be a target pistol it is designed for ccw and a first line of defense.

1 year agoI am a noob and this is my first hand gun and I was looking for something decent inexpensive and to be used mainly for home defense and the occasional target shooting. After reading hours of reviews on multiple sites and watching numerous video reviews on Youtube I decided on the Taurus PT 111 Mill G2. The shipping was prompt and I have no qualms or issues with PSA. After wiping the gun down and cleaning it from the buckets of oil it came covered in I took the gun out (March 18 2017) and after

1 year agoI'll confess I never considered Taurus firearms in the same league as Smith&Wesson Glock Springfield Armory Sig Sauer or many of the other well-known firearms manufacturers. However I kept seeing this PT111 at a really good price that I began reading up on it. I found that in 2014 Anthony Acitelli took over the role of CEO for Taurus Holding Inc. He came from Colt as their former SVP of Sales with 20+ years of experience in the firearms industry. He took on the challenge of turning around

1 year agowas not not a fan of Taurus but this one is a keeper. I had my douts but after 124 flawless rounds of all makes and grains brass and alum cases not one hiccup. I am a s&w 3rd gen guy but for $209 I had to try it.

1 year agoThis Taurus is a really good economy gun. The price is very good very affordable. It shoots well and is pretty accurate. However you do get what you pay for. I don't mean for that to be a bad thing. Before I bought this gun I researched it and read other reviews. It seems that the consensus is 50/50 good and bad. For me I would recommend this gun to anyone. I would compare this gun to something like...... Craftsman to DeWalt. Both do a real good job but if you can't afford DeWalt Craftsman is perfectly fine.

1 year agoI always look at reviews and use them to help filter when making a purchase decision. Like others I have heard good and bad about Taurus however try to read between the lines because buyers are all too often overly critical about one aspect of their purchase or purchasing experience with the vendor they obtain from. My first exposure to the PT111 was seeing Hickok45's review of it on YouTube so my research began from there. That being said Palmetto State Armory had the best price their reviews

1 year agoExterior of gun was completely smothered in oil not big deal. Customer service isn't the best. Sent an email questioning a few things and it took 3 emails before I got a response that did not even answer the questions instead just stated the return policies. I would appreciate it if they could take a minute to read my questions and answer thoroughly that's all.

1 year agoI have owned Taurus pistols in the past and have been "un"impressed. I was hesitant to purchase this PT-111 and must say Taurus has stepped up their game. Quality and fit is that of a much higher priced weapon. I cleaned and lubed it before I took it to the range today. I put about 100 rounds through it without a single malfunction. I'm not the best shot in the world although I do okay... At 30 feet I was making tennis ball size groups. The trigger is kind of goofy there are two clicks when

1 year agoTaurus nailed this one. Great grip and after a few rounds i love the trigger. Watched lots of reviews and hickok45 sealed the deal. Got over 1100 rounds through it mostly fiocchi 124gr and white box 115gr. Eats it up with no problem. Frog lubed the whole thing and barely any wear. Going to grab a third one.

1 year agoBought this pistol and it's one of the best priced guns for a 9mm with 2 12 round mags for 199.00 i mean you can't beat it and people talk all kinds of crap about Taurus everything in life has an up and a down try this gun and you'll buy another I'm waiting for them to restock and getting another one just cause there price and quality can't be beat i like others have ruger Springfield kel-tec S&W and other exspensive gun but this 199.00 dollar gun is very reliable and fun to shoot will take any

1 year agoI'm so impressed with this gun.I paid 199.99 for it on sale and I'm willing to bet it's the best gun for the price! Iv ran about 500 rounds though it since I got a few weeks ago and not one hiccup it feels nice it carrys nice it's light. It has some very nice options. My 1st favorite is it has a manual safety something I like just because I'm always running into stuff working on things and what not. 2 it has the ability to keep trying to fire just like a revolver so say for instance the shell

1 year agoMy first EDC gun but I don't think I ever need to switch! Incredible value for $200. I've shot all kinds of ammo through it not a single problem. It's fairly accurate I passed my conceal carry shooting test with it. I love the manual safety double action and loaded chamber indicator. Also the gen 1 pistols I heard had safety problems but this gen 2 is supposedly good to go.

1 year agoI have ran over 500 rounds through mine and have not had any problems with it. Great pistol for the price.

1 year agoI've had a few of these and literally wore out one. Mainly rust from carrying against my sweaty body. Shoots every kind of ammo ever put in it.

1 year agoPut over 1000 rounds thru mine. Jammed on 4. Chalk it up to cheap ammo. Very accurate for gun of its price. Well balanced with 12 round clip. Its a little bulky though for concealed carry unless you like wearing coats everywhere.
