Built for the modern handgunner, the new FN High Power™ reimagines the legendary 1935 FN pistol conceived by John Browning. From NATOs trusted sidearm for more than 80 years to a modern pistol designed for today’s sport shooter, the FN High Power has been enhanced to exceed every expectation. With three new frame colors and seven accessory grips, personalizing your FN High Power has never been easier.
With improvements to ergonomics and fire control design, shootability and accuracy bests any clone of the original FN High Power, pointing naturally with driftable steel sights and shooting with pinpoint precision, thanks to the smooth, single action trigger. FN adds an industry-first 17+1 capacity in a High Power.
At 40-oz., the robust design keeps the signature rake of the dust cover and long arm slide release, adding ambi-controls for instinctive operation. An extended beavertail and raised hammer fit perfectly in hand. The FN High Power takes down instantly for maintenance, deletes the magazine disconnect, and ensures that most modern factory loads feed smoothly over the polished ramp of the cold hammer forged barrel.

1 year agoAs a lefty, Ive searched for a metal frame pistol with an ambi slide stop and magazine release. The new High Power is everything Ive been looking for in a metal frame gun all my life. No more slingshot-ing the slide! Hallelujah! Super accurate and a breeze to takedown and clean.

1 year agoI ordered this gun for a dear friend who had his heart set on it since he saw it in guns and ammo. it took awhile to acquire it, but once i was able to get it and then transfer it to him, he has never been happier. he likes the fn brand and this one was on his bucket list.

1 year agoFit and finish are very good on my example. I do not like the supplied grip panels, they feel thin and flimsy to me. I ordered the VZ grip panels and am very pleased with them. The take-down lever is a nice addition, making disassembly very easy. The pistol feels good in the hand and I like the heft of an all steel firearm. It has a natural point of aim and sight registration is dead on. I have only fired 100 rounds so far and did not have any function or feeding problems. If this continues I will add one more star for a total of five. I am very impressed.

1 year agoThis is an awesome gun. While it is fully metal and heavy, that helps it reduce recoil. The only reason this review got 4 instead of 5 stars is that the sights are flat black , making it very difficult to quickly focus and ail on a dark target or in low light. My Walthers and Smith & Wessons all have at least white dots on the sights, making quick target acquisition much easier. For a premium gun, this oversight (pun intended) makes FN look bad.
