1 year agoIt was available during the 2020 ammo shortage, like to have a decent supply of hunting related ammo available, (along with plinker/practice ammo) when needed at home. Price was tolerable for 2020. Goes bang, makes holes in targets, decent accuracy.

1 year agoFederal offers a rebait on their ammo, require you to send multiple pictures of the boxes, and receipt, then send an email stating that you didn't send proof of purchase and delivery.

1 year agoI used this in a Mini-30 with a 18.5" barrel and get 2350fps over my chronograph, the same as Federal advertises from their 20" test barrel. I shoot iron sights with my Mini so accuracy is kind of relative but Federal's PowerShok shoots much better, in my rifle, than their Fusion ammo. Shot a good sized doe at about 75yds. Bullet entered right behind the onside shoulder and exited the front portion of the offside shoulder then hit the off side leg completely breaking it in two. After
