The Cowboy loads recoil isn’t trivial, but from reading Chuck Hawks recoil info, I was expecting pounding mule kicks with this ammo. It was definitely more, but no near twice as much as a paper comparison would suggest. I didn’t really do a bench test, but I’m certain that the cowboy loads and this ammo have a significantly different point of impact. The truth is I mostly wanted to get a 45-70 for the really cool ammo, not the gun. So I love them all! However, this perky buxom brass is the sexyist.

Every rifle is DIFFERENT, but my Marlin 1895 SbL in 45-70 loves these Hornady 325’s! 1.5” @100yds all day out of a 18” barreled levergun!

The 325 Grain FTX is incredibally accurate. I've used this ammo in two separate Marlin 1895 lever action rifles. Both will cut a single, ragged hole at 100 yards. understandably, the holes are large where bullet impacts overlap. this is exceptionable accuracy from factory ammo being shot from unmodified factory rifles. I wish i had bought more!

Love these cartridges! No Problem hitting targets a 180 yds. but for me its like trading punches with a mule! Looking to find 300 or 250 grain just to see the difference. Would definately recommend.

Yea I, like everyone else, hate these prices but grabagun had better prices than most. They're a good company selling quality ammo so yea I'll be back to drain my savings account soon. SEriously though I am a fan of this company and a huge fan of this ammunition.

I run these through my long barrel lever action , very accurate I recommend these for deer , bear , just about any animal in the Midwest for hunting

Great initial product for its intended purpose. Brass length is short if you’re hand loading the spent cartridges.

they cycled and shot great through my new Henry's rifle. With open sights I held a three inch group at 100 yards and penetrated three milk jugs filled with water at 25 yards. It looks like these should work fine for bear season.

Great bullet for putting down anything I could imagine. Shoots great through my marlin 1895 Dark. I recommend it

Shot off-hand with my new Henry CCH 40/70. I was able to hold 1” separation at 50 yds. Can’t wait to get serious with my Caldwell sled to see how consistent the ammo is at 100 yds.

These sure are some nice looking bullets. Due to Joe Biden being in charge of taking away our gun rights, I am currently saving my ammo. When it's easier to buy bullets I will be able to actually tell you how much I like shooting these bullets.
