Ever since its introduction in 2006, LEVERevolution ammunition has brought grandpa’s lever action rifle out of retirement and turned it into a firearm everyone is shooting. Featuring a soft polymer flex tip, it’s tough enough to stand up to a jacketed bullet, but soft enough so it won’t dent the primer of the round in front of it or cause accidental firing in a lever gun. This new technology makes LEVERevolution cartridges safe in tubular magazines.
LEVERevolution ammunition features up to 40% more energy than traditional flat point loads and travels up to 250 fps faster. Feed your lever gun with a box today! This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
Technical Information:
• Muzzle Velocity: 2050 fps
• Muzzle Energy: 3032 ft. lbs.

2 years agoLooked for several months both gun stores and on line. Lowest prices and lowest shipping. Will be placing another order soon.

1 year agoThe Cowboy loads recoil isn’t trivial, but from reading Chuck Hawks recoil info, I was expecting pounding mule kicks with this ammo. It was definitely more, but no near twice as much as a paper comparison would suggest. I didn’t really do a bench test, but I’m certain that the cowboy loads and this ammo have a significantly different point of impact. The truth is I mostly wanted to get a 45-70 for the really cool ammo, not the gun. So I love them all! However, this perky buxom brass is the sexyist.

1 year agoEvery rifle is DIFFERENT, but my Marlin 1895 SbL in 45-70 loves these Hornady 325’s! 1.5” @100yds all day out of a 18” barreled levergun!

1 year agohigh quality, consistent product, no jamming, absolutely a perfect modern version of a historic cartridge

1 year agoThe 325 Grain FTX is incredibally accurate. I've used this ammo in two separate Marlin 1895 lever action rifles. Both will cut a single, ragged hole at 100 yards. understandably, the holes are large where bullet impacts overlap. this is exceptionable accuracy from factory ammo being shot from unmodified factory rifles. I wish i had bought more!

1 year agoLove these cartridges! No Problem hitting targets a 180 yds. but for me its like trading punches with a mule! Looking to find 300 or 250 grain just to see the difference. Would definately recommend.

1 year agoYea I, like everyone else, hate these prices but grabagun had better prices than most. They're a good company selling quality ammo so yea I'll be back to drain my savings account soon. SEriously though I am a fan of this company and a huge fan of this ammunition.

1 year agoI run these through my long barrel lever action , very accurate I recommend these for deer , bear , just about any animal in the Midwest for hunting

1 year agoAccurate, consistent and dependable ammo. I took a 10 point buck this season with this .45-70 ammo. I highly recommend it.

1 year agoGreat initial product for its intended purpose. Brass length is short if you’re hand loading the spent cartridges.

1 year agothey cycled and shot great through my new Henry's rifle. With open sights I held a three inch group at 100 yards and penetrated three milk jugs filled with water at 25 yards. It looks like these should work fine for bear season.

1 year agoGreat bullet for putting down anything I could imagine. Shoots great through my marlin 1895 Dark. I recommend it

1 year agoShot off-hand with my new Henry CCH 40/70. I was able to hold 1” separation at 50 yds. Can’t wait to get serious with my Caldwell sled to see how consistent the ammo is at 100 yds.

1 year agoI have seen the awesome stopping power by this fabulous round. 45 70 is the way to go. Hornady has the best design on the market. Thrilled with the performance of the levrevolution design. Keep up the great work hornady. I will surely keep buying and hunting with this terrific product. George

1 year agoThese sure are some nice looking bullets. Due to Joe Biden being in charge of taking away our gun rights, I am currently saving my ammo. When it's easier to buy bullets I will be able to actually tell you how much I like shooting these bullets.

1 year agoPerfect! They hit like a brick through a plate-glass window! The 1895SBL eats them like candy (enough metaphors already). Palmetto State Armory has everything, even with the shortages! You have my business!
