Very satisfied, love the grip, easy to strip down. I've seen a review or two here that are about the Compact... That's a different gun. I do agree about the standard Canada 10 round mags though - it is impossible even with a speed loader to get the last round in... Which means you have to do some surgery on them. There are some places that have the US 17 round mags that have been limited to 10 using a drill burr, they are just as difficult but at least it is easy to fix. I think the trigger is fine and has been improved, if you are a competition shooter you may go for an after-market trigger but you probably would do that anyway. I can sympathize with the fixed sights a bit, but if you can't live with it then the rail makes it easy to go for a laser sight - which I highly recommend because it becomes easy to identify any problems bin your sighting and firing.

I have both the .40 and 9mm. I never shot my .40 until after I spent about $900 in upgrades including a flat forward setting trigger. The trigger is the issue imo. My 9mm which is barebones is less accurate than my .40 due to the trigger. Not saying SW made a bad trigger but 6/7lbs of pressur isnt great. The trigger drops it to about 3.5 a little less and it helps not jerk the gun when breaking your shots. Hope this helps

mags are impossible to load without a mag loader. slide release is very stiff, slide release for left hand use is not functional at all. gun shoots extremely low .

Purchased my 9mm almost a year ago now and have had zero issues! Sight may have been slightly out but was adding a laser anyway..,, problem solved. Was worried purchasing online because I like my guns to look immaculate, was so relieved it was flawless!! Cheers to Smith & Wesson!

I bought this 2 months ago and fires 250 rounds the sight needs to adjust. I thought that it's been tested and adjusted before they sell it. I will bring it to the range again and try to adjust it. Out of 250 rounds never got jammed , mags sometimes doesn't fully engaged.

I've tried different Glocks, FN, Walther, Sig 9mm and prefer the M&P full size or a Shield (have both)

Bought this last week and shipping was pretty quick. Found the trigger felt like it had sand in the mechanisiam so with a little polishing on a couple parts it is smooth like it should be. Grip is the best I have seen with respect to it sticking in the hand solidly. I think this is going to be my next favorite to my CZ collection.

Excellent for self defense, concealed carry, home defense and/or on the job. I've owned this gun for the past 5 years and it has never failed me. This is my EDC which sometimes I open carry in a paddle holster with a light jacket over it and sometimes I carry it just placed in my rear waistband of my blue jeans. Very comfortable. I only shoot FMJ rounds flat tip. Has a lot of stopping power. Its good for close to mid range but with a little practice and training this gun can reach out a good dis... Read more

My first 40,less than a week from order to pickup at FFL. Took it to the range put 150 rounds through it, not a single failure of any kind. Winchester white box, and Federal Alluminum. Liked the new trigger, and EDC capable.

I really like everything about this M&P40 M2.0, from the trigger pull to the grips! The multiple back-strap options are a plus. Works flawlessly and its very accurate. Smith & Wesson quality at a great price. Purchased here for $85 less than at BudsGunShop.com, my former go to on-line gun store. Planning to get one in .45 caliber ASAP.

This weapon shoots great, very comfortable and accurate out of the box. I use it as a home Defense gun primarily, but you can still ccw even with its Full size frame. No issues At all it will be a great firEarm For many years. The gRip may be too AGGRESSIVE for some peoPle but it shouldn’t be a deal breaker.

I ENJOY THE PROCESS AT GRAG A GUN. THEY MADE IT VERY EASY TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT FIREARM TO MEET MY SELF-DEFENSE NEEDS. I HOPE THE PROBLEM WITH THE BUY NOW PAY LATER SYSTEM IS FIXED. OTHERWISE, I WILL USE GRAB-GUN FOR ALL MY FIREARMS NEEDS. ONE MORE THING, THERE SERVICE REPS ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE.
