Colt Gold Cup 45 ACP 8+1 Round Pistol, Brushed Stainless – O5070GCL

Love the gun, Exellent shooter. Wanted a colt in a 45 acp and I stuck gold with my 1911. Grab a gun is awesome. I had another gun store where i did my shopping but couldn't keep up with demand.....i found a new favorite......Grab A Gun.......And they reduced the price on my next 1911 buy.

This Colt is very well made and incredibly accurate. Other than the beveled magazine well and the checkered front and rear straps that you’d get with the higher priced Gold Cup model, the Gold Cup Lite version fit my needs perfectly. Unfortunately, this firearm only came with one magazine. Colt’s website states that it comes with two. I emailed Grab a Gun for support with this issue, and their response was less then helpful. Fortunately for me, Colt’s great customer service was able to rectify the problem immediately.

I ordered Sunday night and i had it at my FFL Tuesday afternoon. The pistol is beautiful, expensive but what the heck! I took it apart to have a look and it was very easy. No super tight bushing to fight just well made. When it warms up some i will take it to the range to try her out. I am sure it will go just fine.

The gun is amazing. Very easy to take apart by far the easiest 1911 45 I have ever striped brand new. Very accurate. I took my brother and his wife out first time I shot it. She is a very novice shooter and her best grouping of the day was with this gun. I put about 700 rounds through this gun in the frist two shootings not an issue. Grab a gun is even more amazing. Best prices and I live in the dfw area of texas where the local store is and the guys in there are awesome super friendly and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be doing a lot more business with them!!

This is going to be one of my favorites 1911.. It is a beautiful looking gun. I was able to order it on a Monday and was delivered to the FFL by 3pm on Wednesday.. I just added a Wilson Combat Mag well and will be adding a few other parts form Wilson Combat.

I never had anything delivery so fast. Ordered on Sunday and was ready for pick up on Tuesday. I like the feel in my hands since they are large. The rear adjustable sights are nice to have and the front fiber optic is easy to see. The mag well is a bit tight when inserting the magazines but it could be the gun is new. i'm very happy with my colt gold cup lite 1911 45acp. great fit and finish. locks up tight. very nice trigger. glad to have the double adjustable rear sight but with ammo i have used it hits right on the money out of the box. looks great and shoots great. well worth the price. excellent gun. i couldn't be happier with it.

Haven’t shot yet but it looks great. Trigger has a little more creep than I was expecting, breaks clean but the take-up is between 1/4-1/2 inch. Bushing and barrel fitment is perfect. Barrel came fouled but wiping with oil and a bore snake shined it up. Grips have aggressive texture, more so than it seems in the picture. Only comes with one magazine which is insanely cheap on Colts part for a $1200 dollar gun but that’s not too surprising nowadays. Love the polished stainless on the flat parts and satin finish on the top and on the curved areas.

Out of all my handguns this is by far my favorite. The slide is smooth as butter very happy with this purchase.

Just received my Gold Cup Lite. Delivery was exceptionally fast from Guns.com. Took it directly to the range right out of the box. It performed perfectly, smooth and precise on target. Fully recommend this Colt 1911 to all.

This Gold Cup , is definitely one of the best 45 cal.. pistols I have ever owned .. Colt did their homework on this model .. Simply love it..If you are a colt fan , try one of these !!!!

This is a great pistol with a Supreme trigger and fully adjustable sights. I would absolutely recommend this pistol for anyone looking for a reliable 1911. As always guns.com made this purchase easy, and delivery was fast.
