SIG SAUER P220 LEGION 45ACP PISTOL – 220R-45-LEGION-SAO
The P220 Legion is an enhanced version of the gun that started it all for modern-day SIG. Finished in a proprietary Legion gray coating and featuring custom G-10 grips with a Legion medallion, the P220 Legion is improved in nearly every way. The stainless-steel slide sports SIG SAUER Electro-Optics X-RAY high visibility day/night sights as well as front cocking serrations that provide greater purchase for cycling the action, clearing the firearm or conducting press checks.
The P220 in SAO includes a reduced and contoured Elite beavertail, which allows for a higher grip and a reduced profile, thus eliminating printing. More aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard enhance the grip. An X-Five undercut has been applied to the trigger guard, allowing for a higher grip and greater control. The P220 Legion also features low-profile decocking and slide-catch levers to reduce the risk of snagging. An enhanced polished action with the SRT (Short-Reset Trigger) is augmented with a Grayguns, Inc. designed P-SAIT trigger. In addition, a solid steel guide rod adds weight where it matters most. The P220 Legion ships with three 8-round magazines.

1 year agoMy first Sig. Bought the Legion 10MM last year and love it! So accurate out of the box and recoil is no more than my Ruger 45. I feel very confident wearing this firearm.

1 year agoI currently own 3 Legions, a P226 SAO w/Romeo 1 Pro, a P320 X5, and my newest addition a P220 10mm. I love all 3 but the P220 10mm is in a league of its own for me. The gun is a tank and is just overbuilt in all aspects but it has to be to handle the 10mm round. I was very impressed with the lack of felt recoil and how smoothly the gun cycles. Testament to the weight and the slide length slide rails. Even in double action, the trigger pull is smooth and consistent all the way through. And the

1 year agoMy first and only .45 ACP and my 5th Sig Sauer. I love this pistol. Shoot great, accurate, reliable. Rapidly became my most favorite pistol to shoot.

1 year agoFirst of all, having one of these firearms is a luxury, both for the price and for the quality of the weapon. I could say that in particular it is my first experience with Sig Sauer and I immediately went to the high range and the truth is that I am not disappointed at all. I decided to write the review after accumulating at least 500 rounds and the truth is that this P-220 is has behaved like a workhorse. I can say that for firepower the recoil is manageable and the weight of the

1 year agoSIG is a wonderful company and manufacturer. I purchased one of these in December 2020. I love it. I have several SIGs (230s, 238HD, 938, 365, 365sas, MPX-k, P220R SAO Legion) and I've been a SIG owner since the early '90s when a dealer talked me out of buying a PPK/s and into a P230 in stainless. I like the craftsmanship of SIG weapons, the quality of materials, and the attention to customers when service is needed. I liked this so much that within a month of getting it I ordered the P220R3

1 year agoI love this website, and every so often you can find a deal but their prices, particularly on used guns are way off base. For example - they currently have a used P220 Legion on here for $1250. I can purchase the same gun NEW from Sportsman’s for $1199.00

1 year agoI love the gun; looks great, feels solid with high quality and fun to shoot. I’m not sure if part of the break-in period, but I do experience mis-feeds. The mag is tight, making the slide catch/release super hard to use.

1 year agoCalled support prior to shipping , they were great. Gun received when promised, new/pristine as promised. Now these guys will sell me more guns. Oh darn it.

1 year agoWhat a truly engineering marvel this pistol is. I have two Glocks in the 10 mm caliber and now I finally know the difference. It is unwavering while absorbing the recoil. I only wish the clip held a bit more.

1 year agoI have Legion in 9mm, .357 sig, .40 s&w, .45 acp and 10 mm, DA/SA and in SAO, and I can get shoots on target with all. Sig Sauer's are all pricey, but the Legion series are in my opinion, the best for the money.

1 year agoSo, this is also my problem. My purchase was so easy and professional, I will be forced to purchase more from here. What a problem to have, eh? :)

1 year agoIt was worth the wait to get the gun I really wanted. It has performed flawlessly. It should not be your first pistol. Ordered early Monday 4/11 and took delivery Wed. 4/13. Date of mfg 4/6. Guns.com is now the first place I shop. I don't want to wait 5-7 days for processing.

1 year agoI know no one can or should compare the two pistols, but a very, very close rival to the original .45 caliber (1911) is the modern Sig Sauer P220 Legion. Don’t leave home without it!

1 year agoSuper nice gun, only thing is i thought it was gonna have the curved trigger instead of the straight but overall great gun

1 year agoGreat finish, excellent ergonomics, great short double action trigger, shoots great. Perfect weight in my opinion. Sights are nice, but not super bright during the day. I kind of wish the front dot had a larger outer ring that was easier to pick up. Not a big deal in the long run since I just installed a red dot. Nice low mount for the red dot. 1 year agoI write 5 stars even though I haven't fired it yet. It is based on all the reviews I have read. I bought it primarily to prevent being lunch for a bear or mtn. lion in MT when I eventually get there to do some hiking. I don't think this gun will disappoint me--feels awesome in the hand!

1 year agoI have a Legion 229 in .357 Sig and it is a wonderful pistol and a great shooter. So, my Legion 220 in .45 ACP was no big surprise as far as quality and accuracy are concerned. Sig Sauer has established a powerful brand with its Legion line of pistols. I am considering adding a 9mm to my collection.
