The P220 Legion is an enhanced version of the gun that started it all for modern day SIG. Finished in a proprietary Legion gray coating and featuring custom G-10 grips with a Legion medallion, the P220 Legion is improved in nearly every way. The stainless-steel slide sports SIG SAUER Electro-Optics X-RAY high visibility day/night sights as well as front cocking serrations that provide greater purchase for cycling the action, clearing the firearm or conducting press checks.

The P220 in DA/SA includes a reduced and contoured Elite beavertail, which allows for a higher grip and a reduced profile, thus eliminating printing. More aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard enhance the grip. An X-Five undercut has been applied to the trigger guard, allowing for a higher grip and greater control. The P220 Legion also features low-profile decocking and slide-catch levers to reduce the risk of snagging. An enhanced polished action with the SRT (Short-Reset Trigger) is augmented with a Grayguns, Inc. designed P-SAIT trigger. In addition, a solid steel guide rod adds weight where it matters most. The P220 Legion ships with three 8-round magazines.

I bought this about a month and a half ago and it's the best handgun I've ever owned. It's accurate, smooth action, perfect grip, not too much recoil, and the night sights are a nice touch

This is the best out of the box .45 ACP I've ever fired and I'm a Kimber 1911 fanatic. Grips have aggressive stippling but not too rough. The sights are great and the trigger is smooth, with a little take up, but a short crisp reset. The slide release is a little hard to press but I expect it will loosen up quickly. Unexpected to get 3 mags but with 8 rounds it's a welcome surprise.

Nothing on the Sig website for THIS gun states having combat sites and not regular . Because they don’t mention it they also don’t describe what combat sites are before they sell it to you. You have to aim above your target so the barrel is covering your target. There is absolutely no point in having sites on this gun at all if it is designed to just aim and shoot. I called Sig and they basically tell you sorry we don’t describe it having combat sites and to bad for you. He did … Read More

You can't go wrong with any SIG but the Legion is a step beyond great. The trigger reset is great, the grip feels right. fits perfect in my hand with the x-5 undercut and the elite beavertail allows a higher grip to me the kick back is lower then my other 45's. it is very accurate. All the custom mods are done for you out of a box. I have lighter CCW pistols but the Legion P220 is the one I would take first to carry.

Super nice 45 - I have a couple other non-legion p220's - all are super accurate and nice in the hand

I am completely satisfied with this being my first gun purchase. So far I have run around 2000 rounds and it is highly accurate and smooth with a low recoil. I would highly recommend this Legion if you are looking for a larger caliber with all of the above attributes aforementioned.

Not my 1st sig and definitely won’t be my last I’ve been wanting a legion since they came out but having a 229sse made it easy to wait . Well I finally “pulled the trigger “ (pun intended) welcome to my edc lineup

My first Sig. Bought the Legion 10MM last year and love it! So accurate out of the box and recoil is no more than my Ruger 45. I feel very confident wearing this firearm.

I currently own 3 Legions, a P226 SAO w/Romeo 1 Pro, a P320 X5, and my newest addition a P220 10mm. I love all 3 but the P220 10mm is in a league of its own for me. The gun is a tank and is just overbuilt in all aspects but it has to be to handle the 10mm round. I was very impressed with the lack of felt recoil and how smoothly the gun cycles. Testament to the weight and the slide length slide rails. Even in double action, the trigger pull is smooth and consistent all the way through. And the … Read More

Decent gun. Have an issue with inserting the mags. I’m no gunsmiths but It looks like the mag itself was catching on something in the frame. Probably just needs the release adjusted. I have to slam the mag to get it to go. That and the slide release lever is loose. Sig will obviously be taking care of It for me. I’m sending It out tomorrow. Once It works right, I’d say I’d be able to change to 5 stars and a solid review. I have a p229 legion also so I know the platform very well. Great shooter … Read More

My old German made P220 is just as good as these modern versions except for the trigger. I ain't about to pay double for the same gun with a slightly better trigger. If SIG is really serious about improving their guns for all users, they would offer a P-SAIT trigger kit upgrade to install in older versions. Everything else on this gun is a gimmick to justify the extreme price tag.

My first and only .45 ACP and my 5th Sig Sauer. I love this pistol. Shoot great, accurate, reliable. Rapidly became my most favorite pistol to shoot.

First of all, having one of these firearms is a luxury, both for the price and for the quality of the weapon. I could say that in particular it is my first experience with Sig Sauer and I immediately went to the high range and the truth is that I am not disappointed at all. I decided to write the review after accumulating at least 500 rounds and the truth is that this P-220 is has behaved like a workhorse. I can say that for firepower the recoil is manageable and the weight of the … Read More

Just recently bought P220 Legion .45 ACP. Out of the box and at the range firts magazine not seating properly so I have to press mag release and first mag shooting result with a misfeed. Ready to return on Monday 07/19 the gun to the dealer for warranty. I don't understand if you have a quality inspector how this gun make it to my hands. This specific gun unreliable, untrustful and clowny performance and the range not worthy of the price paid. As a US Army retired veteran hope you honor your

Clowny performance. First magazine shot a misfeed. Magazine not seating properly at all. Not worth the price.

I am an old man with small hands, but I own and shoot nothing below .40. This handgun is well balanced and easy to grip. I love the way it shoots. If you missed it during the 10 minutes it was available, sorry about your luck.

My first 10mm, it is an absolute beast. I’m glad I chose it over the competition. It is as comfortable in the hand as it is on the eyes.

Absolutely love my new P220. This my first Sig and as soon as I picked it up from my ffl, I was off to the range. I couldn't believe how smooth the trigger is in both DA and SA. No problem with getting 1" groups. I don't know about any of the other sig lines but the Legion really sets the bar up there. I hope not too high because I've been looking into a few other series. Thanks Palmetto for the notification and fast delivery. Always have good service with you guys. Til next order!
