The VP40 is the .40 S&W model of the acclaimed VP pistol line. The VP40 uses HK’s ergonomic handgun grip design that includes three changeable backstraps and six grip side panels accommodating all hand sizes. Molded finger grooves in the front of the pistol’s grip also instinctively position an operator’s hand for optimal shooting. Only HK handguns have such a customized grip. HK’s famous cold hammer forged barrel made from cannon grade steel ensures long service life. The VP40’s machined steel slide is protected from corrosion and wear by HK’s hostile environment finish and all metal components, including springs and pins have superior metallurgy.

2 years agoOutstanding service by EuroOptic.com and speedy shipping (great price too). This is my second HK handgun and it lives up to the hype. The VP40 has a wide, serrated trigger and charging support device on the rear serrations of the slide. The VP40 is easy to disassemble and easy to clean. Shooting the .40 caliber round out of the VP40 may be challenging to others because of recoil, if you are use to a 9mm, the low profile of the slide and barrel helps. It comes with a plastic case and a total of 2 magazines.

2 years agoSurprised it's not more expensive, I have an FN 509c which, in my opinion, is an equal. Different calibers, but both share the same feel when firing. 2 years agoThe ergonomics of the hand grip is so nice and if you need to change it to be smaller or larger you have that option. Right out of the box it was accurate.

2 years agoLove this pistol. Qualified with a perfect score for my License to carry test just a month after purchase. Very accurate, easy to breakdown and clean. PSA got the weapon to my FFL very quickly. Thanks!
