Sent it back to Taurus because three of us could not get the slide to return to battery. Defective out of the box.

It a taurus. Compact and reliable. Holds 10 rounds if you can get them all in the clip. For under $300 it's a good buy for home defense or concealed carry.

These new g2c series are awesome. They shoot nice. Even reading gun magazines they are saying for the price they are equal to the sigs. Why spend $400 more for the name.

Great firearm for the price, 10+1 round of 40 S&W for less than 250.00, it is an unbeatable price. Trigger is so smooth and recoil is almost un-existen, for a compact firearm is great. I put 300 rounds in 1 session no fails at all. and all my targets get a perfect 300.... great choice but really hard to find available units of this particular model. My Favorite firearm. and yes is a Taurus!!

I picked it up a few days ago shot 30 rounds 170 gr L bullets today. I loaded and unloaded the mags 4 times. The fifth time I left them loaded for a couple days. They got a lot easier to load after that. The slide stop was extremely hard to release so I worked it many times. A Lot easier now. Give it a break in period. Had no problems at all this first timeout. I will recommend this gun. Excellent experience ! I have a few Taurus hand guns. Never had a problem with any.

So far so good. I ran about 100 rounds through the weapon at the range. No misfeeds at all. I have small hands and this isn't a heavy gun and recoil is decent. Satisfied with this purchase.

Great size for concealed carry. 10 + 1 in 40 cal is nice. Multiple strike capability which is a must for a self defense weapon. The G2c is a fantastic gun with an awesome price point. Does everything my more expensive pistols do and sometimes more.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality and workmanship. It is comfortable in the holster and in my hand. I am lefty who has gotten used to suffering through right-hand safety and mag releases. This safety is big enough to hit every time but small enough not to interfere with draw. Perfect EDC choice for me.

Purchased this model as a conceal carry option. It is the perfect size and is comfortable to wear concealed or open carry. The handgun itself has operated flawlessly so far after running 400 rounds through it. I have small hands and it feels really comfortable when firing. The trigger action in my opinion is slightly heavy but is totally okay. It comes with 2 magazines which in my opinion should be standard for all magazine fed handguns. If you are looking for an every day carry handgun, I definitely recommend this one.

Great compact 40 s&w pistol. Was hard to load clips at first but they have loosened up with use. Functions great. No failures. Accurate.

The first thing I did was change the trigger on it which I got from "Keep Tinkering". Now I can say it's the perfect concealed carry gun for me. Perfect size even for my big ape hands. Sportsmans Wharehouse was great. Thanks.

I bought this gun to carry. It’s light enough to carry around to the point that you almost forget that you are carrying. It shoots really well. I would recommend this gun.

Love this firearm!!! I also own the G2C in 9mm and love it as well. The 40 has a little better trigger pull feel than the 9mm in my opinion. Was going to upgrade to the G3C 9mm but went ahead and bought this model 40cal and I am not disappointed one bit. A lot of people talk trash about Taurus firearms for 2 reasons: (1) Taurus made very poor quality firearms until the G2 models came out. Another quality product. I have a total of ten taurus pistols and revolvers, I have yet to have a mechanical issue with any. The only issue is finding magazines for the .40 caliber. Palmetto State Armory has fast service that is second to none.
