This is a great gun overall and an outstanding carry gun. My primary duty gun is a Glock and my off-duty carry gun is a smaller Glock. I’ve been a Glock fan for a long time. I’ve also carried a S&W M&P Compact .40 for many years. This Canik is now my go-to gun. Buy one; you won’t be sorry.

My wife and I love shooting our canik TP9 elite sc at the range. She calls it “the little cannon”. It’s a little on the heavy side for a gun its size, but it’s accurate enough and fun to shoot. It’s a great gun for the money.

The idea of it being a sub compact is a bit deceiving. It's larger and heavier than I hoped,but a solid purchase. The accuracy, trigger, and build quality are amazing and what you'd expect from Canik. Standard mags are just too small for me, so I've ordered the extended 15 and 17 round mags.
