Springfield Emissary 1911 .45 ACP Pistol, Two Tone – PX9220L

Fantastic gun! The bull barrel definitely gives the nose a little more heft and you can feel the positive effect on recoil. Best facet IMO are the grenade grips. I can understand if some find them too rough, but this is the kind of grip I’ve been looking for. Only detail I’ll mention about the gun’s appearance is that the slide finish looks like a dark grey stainless in photos, but it’s actually more of a polished onyx in person.

Very nicely made side arm. when they said that the grips, back strap and front strap were grippy, if didn't realize that they really are grippy. When i place my hands on this 1911, there is zero movement. the texture reallly feels good. the weight is very comfortable. springfield, well done!

Another gun that is not your grandfather’s 1911. It has the good looks, with the two tone and the grenade pattern on the grips and on the front and back straps. Oversized trigger guard makes it easy in case you want to wear gloves to the range, and the flat trigger works very well with little to none over-travel and a crisp shoot.
