2 years agoThis is my second Hi Point 45. It will shoot any ammo, even the really cheap stuff and never hangs up. It is a big gun made for big hands. It is not pretty, but it is a perfect gun to get slightly beat up in the truck. I highly recommend

1 year agoIt's big, heavy and ugly. I worked the slide around 300 times before shooting the first 50 rounds. Absolutely not one issue with it. Shoots better than expected. Be prepared to laugh at all the people buying expensive guns and can't afford ammo. I have more expensive guns sitting in the safe. This beast goes along for the ride.

1 year agoNot a Cadillac of guns by any means, but it is a really good, reliable home defense weapon. Five hundred rounds through it so far with no issues.

1 year agoThe only reason I bought this weapon was because it was because one day at my apartment trash bin I found a magazine for it! Unfortunately I couldn’t find the gun but it was so inexpensive I just had to get One. First off it’s true, this is a monster of a weapon! I believe all the reviews I’ve seen about indestructibility because everything looks twice as thick as it needs to be. It’s heavy and recoil is minimal. Sight acquisition is excellent and the grip fits my medium sized hands fine. I

1 year agoOk. I know this isn’t a Glock (thank God) or a Sig but this is a solid gun! I haven’t put that many rounds down range yet, but, so far, it feels right. Don’t get me wrong. This is NOT an EDC gun. This is a canon. I would carry this hunting or fishing or some place where concealing is not a priority. But I am very happy!

1 year agoBelieve it or not I love it more than my c9 9mm but together I couldn't ask for better handguns ready for rifles now

1 year agoGood gun 250+ rounds no problem and the price to see if I would like a bigger caliber! I didn’t go wrong!!

1 year agoIt's a Hi-Point....it's big, heavy and ugly, but guess what? It works. My son and I did a youtube review (mixup98) on the one I bought at Sportsman's Warehouse and we were really surprised by the accuracy and the 100% reliability of my pistol. If you are looking for an inexpensive range toy or you are on a fixed income or tight budget you might want to take a look at this pistol. I just wish it came with two magazines instead of one.

1 year agoIt reliably does everything it's asked to do. It has cycled every brand of .45 ACP that has been loaded into it. Its massive size makes it comfortable to shoot, despite being impossible to conceal. The price can't be beat for a functional firearm that won't come apart in your hand. Makes a great truck gun. Pairs nicely with its big brother, the 4595TS.

1 year agoUgly but great firearm. Reliable, never feeding issues and accurate. Not for small hands. Is really heavy

1 year agoI like it. It's a little heavy but accurate-Have had some jamming issues, but I've only ran about 500 rounds thru it.

1 year agoI received my gun with a broken clip. I took photos as it looked extremely used with all kinds of wear and scratches. I called Palmetto and they said there is nothing they can do for me. They gave me the manufacturer’s phone number. I called and they are closed until January 6, 2020 I am so upset!!!

1 year agoI have 2 of these and love them. They get the job done. They just need a little finesse in breaking in.

1 year agoIt's heavy, it fires well, and with some customization it looks like something out of cyberpunk 2077.

1 year agoI have to admit that I don’t tell many that I own this one, but I do…and it has NEVER failed. I think it weighs about a ton too much, but I think that weight keeps it on line. I can shoot horse apples (round poop for you city folks) and cow pies at distance….very accurate. I wish I had my military M1911 to compare accuracy. These big brothers are heavy, but fun and cheap.

1 year agoAfter 100 rounds, my only complaint is the rattling of the mag ejector, which it did out of the box. But, for $199 and the lifetime unlimited warranty, 5 stars all day.

1 year agoI didn't buy my Hi Point at Palmetto (but I wish I had - they were sold out then). My Hi Point has proved to be a good investment. It is accurate, feeds any ammo brand, is incredibly sturdy (and ugglier than sin and heavy). If you're not plannining on entering your gun in a "beauty contest", and just want a good gun, this is a great choice. I've had mine 4 years now and fired about 2,000 rounds through it with no problems. About 2 months ago, I did something very stupid, and bent the firing pin

1 year agoGreat pistol at a great price! Smooth recoil and very accurate at 60 foot out of the box. Get yourself one!
