1 year agoIts accurate, ill give it that. Great Single shot. Wont eject spent cases of any brand. Then savage had the audacity to tell me i had to pay to send this piece of garbage to them to get fixed. Go with Ruger, much better quality.

1 year agoI’m very pleased with my rifle so I’m gonna give the gun 5 stars! That being said I will tell you this! Make sure when you order the Picatinny scope rail for these particularly savage axis rifle’s, buy the rail that is made and comes with 8-40 screws!The first Gen savage axis rifle’s come with 6-48 screws and the rails are not counter sunk to allow 8-40 screws to be installed! Your local hunting stores do not know about this problem and will only have 6-48 rail and screw hardware! I found my 8-40 rail and screw hardware on ebay for $40! Hope this helps!
