I purchased this rifle last week and took it out to sight in my scope today. I was very impressed with how smooth the action is and how great the trigger response is. This rifle is amazing right out of the box. The synthetic stock is very nice and constructed with great detail. The fore grip is perfect size for my hand and has just the right amount of gripping surface to it. Magazine is easy to load and fits smoothly into the rifle. I do like that the 5 round magazine (.30-06) is stacked side by side so that it mounts flush into the rifle. Recoil is very light. I feel like I could easily fire 100 rounds through this in a day and not have any worry of should pain. I used 4 different ammunition while testing this out and settled with Hornady Precision Hunter ELD-X 178 grain. Even with the 178g ammo the recoil was very light. At 100 yard I was able to put 3 shots sub-MOA just as Benelli guarantees, and with that the first 2 shots were almost through the same hole. Overall I couldn't be more happy with the Benelli Lupo in .30-06. This is going to make a great hunting rifle.

Purchased during December Holiday Friday sales and very happy with this purchase. I have taken it to local Gun Club and sighted in new scope with it. After about 75 rounds and some adjustments (Windage etc) to scope. I am able to punch out center of target @100 yards easily. This rifle "Recoil" is very manageable, compared to other .30-06's I have shot in the past. The bolt action operates very smoothly and efficiently ejecting spent cartridges. The rifles stock padded butt and additional inserts for butt provides additional comfort for your shoulder "shock recoil" (I did add 1-additional insert pad-comes with 3) this system aides very well in providing confident trigger pulls, in whereas, I do not "brace -myself" or have any "anxious" firing trigger pulls or recoil anxieties. I will purchase an additional 2nd magazine holder to carry for the field.

I bought this in 270 Win just after season last year. I planned on resting my 270 Win A bolt Mounted a nice Zeiss scope on the Lupo, it shoots smooth and a 1/2" group at 100 yards. Excellent trigger and shooting firearm Cleaned it, oiled it up and stored it in my safe with 20 other rifles. Now the issue: It is Sept 8 months later and I took it out to get it ready for season. Still dead on and shoots great, but I notice rust on the button that releases the bolt. Wiping the barrel off it is generating rust residue on the rag. I am OCD about keeping my guns clean and protected. This has me concerned that this firearm may not hold up. For the price this should be a lifetime gun.

I bought my Lupo chambered in 30-06 just 48hrs ago and have already shot a .25" grouping! This rifle flat out shoots! I've tried 3 different bullet weights from 150gr to 180gr in 4 different types of hunting factory ammo and every 3 shot group is less than 1 inch.... period.. Rifle feels great, functions great and shoots even better. Thank you Benelli, you've done a outstanding job!

I purchased the 308 and mounted a Leupold VX3hd on it. One trip to the range and it’s dialed in. Tight groups right out of the box and love.

I bought it a month ago, got it adjusted (which was mostly easy, but had some difficult moments to it), and got it sighted in. Very happy with the feel, the weight, the customizations on sizing, and the way it shoots. I took it deer hunting with me and the barrel got scratched up pretty bad for a single use. It was in the truck, resting butt stock on floor boards, saddle blanket seat cover, pretty much the whole time. Next to my dad's Remington. The barrel has worn off areas of the coating, which is incredibly disappointing. My dad's gun, traditional bluing finish, shows no wear at all after going through the same conditions. They would have been better off powder coating it.

I bought this gun to go big game hunting and after a few trips out west, this gun has yet to disappoint. I own a 300 Win Mag, but am so impressed over my other rifles that I plan on getting my son his one LUPO as well.

This spring I purchased a Benelli Lupo 300 Win Mag as an upgrade to my current 300. I was also looking at other, brands but decided on the Benelli as I was very curious about these new rifles. I mounted a Leopold VX-3HD scope and added an Area 419 Sidewinder break and took it to the range to site in. After a few shots it was hitting ½ groups at 100 yards. The accuracy is excellent so far but what was more amazing is how little recoil it has for a 300. My second reason for getting this gun was so my daughter could use it if she wanted. She shot it many times in just a T-shirt and had no issues at all. The feel of this gun when you shoulder it is amazing and natural. I can’t wait to get it in the field this fall to see how it does. If you are looking for a great shooting rifle this is the one. You may pay a little more for it, but it is money well spent.

I bought about 2 months ago and put a scope on it adjusted the trigger went to the deer woods she dropped a doe about 125 yards dropped in its tracks. It’s expensive but extremely reliable..

Was looking to purchase this rifle and found it available thru the Bass Pro/Cabela organization in the caliber desired. As a plus, Bass Pro had one with a strong discount from some minor cosmetic damage. The staff provided a review of the rifle components and workings.

Everything you would expect from Benelli but in a Rifle platform. I know this is their first bolt action rifle, but man is this thing a tack driver. Great ergonomics. I’m beyond impressed with this gun. Worth every penny!

I purchased this Benelli LUPO a week ago and I was just able to shoot this gun (6/29/23). I absolutely love it. I have the 30-06 and man this thing does not kick near as much as my other 30-06. I will say i shot about 20 rounds and the patterned did open to about 1 1/2 inches. When i let the barrel cool down i was back putting them in a nickle.

Like others I purchased a display model at a great discount. I am working on the scope and look forward to getting on the range

Sited fun in, shoots great, heavy recoil but expected. Comfortable recoil pad and chin pad. So far really like it.

Great value on an excellent rifle. There were very minor marks on the stock, hardly noticable. I got this for 500.00 off.

The 6.5 is a fantastic round for longer range shooting. Benelli have a good name with it's rifles and the LUPO is definitely one of their stars. In my opinion the best $1,000, sub MOA, 6.5 out there.
