2018 Shot Show caliber introduction, .32 Special – Authentically styled model 94 lever-action rifle with forearm cap and shotgun style buttplate. The Short Rifle is long on performance. A favourite of many hunters and shooters, the Short Rifle has always been fast to the shoulder, quick-swinging, lightweight and a pleasure to shoot. It was a favourite of the range rider who could snatch it from his saddle scabbard and fire faster than prairie lightning. The new Winchester Model 94 Short Rifle has a compact 20 inches deeply-blued round barrel and a straight grip walnut stock. It has a rifle-style forearm, black grip cap, and a full-length magazine. It’s drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and a hammer spur extension is included with the rifle. The sights are traditional with a semi-buckhorn rear and a Marble Arms gold bead at the muzzle. With the new Short Rifle model 94, there’s a lot of fun waiting in the saddle, in the field or at the range. A feature list that never quits. Walnut stock with satin finish, authentic straight-grip styling, and a blued steel forearm cap offer a nostalgic look. Shotgun style buttplate for smooth and easy shouldering. Triple-checked button rifled barrel for the ultimate in accuracy and precision. Round locking bolt trunnions help ensure a smooth, quick lever throw. Top-tang safety is easy to see and operate. Rebounding hammer provides an added margin of safety. Bolt relief cut reduces hammer drag for smoother cocking. Radiused lever edges give added protection to your fingers. Hammer is drilled and tapped for knurled hammer spur extension (included) to aid in cocking and decocking the hammer when a scope is mounted. Marble Arms front sight and adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight get you on target quickly. Steel loading gate for smoother loading. Articulated cartridge stop improves feeding reliability without damaging cartridges. Drilled and tapped for scope mounts lets you easily attach your favourite optics.

1 year agoRifle was delivered in excellent condition. One of the most balanced guns I have ever picked up. Felt like a glove in my hands. Service was awesome also.

1 year agoBummer that 30-30 ammo is so tough to get. Lever action was smooth. Have it in a shotgun sheath so it can be slung tightly across my back. I can reach over my right ear and pull it out, and shoot. Have to try it on horseback. I have an AR, an AK, a Tactical 12-Gauge, a long range Ruger, and this is by far my favorite. Classic!

1 year agoAfter a horrible experience with a Mossberg 464, I bought this one. It is high quality Winchester/Miroku manufacturing. This is the short rifle model with a cap on the forearm instead of a barrel band as on the carbine model. The fit and finish of wood and metal are superb. After initial cleaning and light oiling per the instruction manual the action is slick and cycles flawlessly. The balance and grip of the 94 is perfect which makes it shoulder and point naturally which of course makes for

1 year agoGreat looking gun. A little heavy from what I remember in prior years. My only problem is that I do not have any ammo to try it out.

1 year agoI would love it even better if I had sufficient ammo (30-30 Winchester) to shoot with it. No ammo, no shoot, no review!

1 year agoI bought one of these in the 70's while in high school brand new for $75.00. Great deer rifle, very accurate but traded it for a Remington Woodmaster. Now I'm regretful.
