The complete package is finally here. The Apex Hunter XP Left Hand pairs a Model 110 rifle with a 3-9x40mm Vortex Crossfire II scope that comes mounted, bore-sighted and ready to hunt. The platform provides accuracy and adjustability like no other package rifle thanks to the Savage AccuTrigger, thread-in headspacing, floating bolt head and precision button-rifled barrel. Plus, its length-of-pull can be easily adjusted to fit any hunter for better comfort and consistency. The Crossfire II’s Dead-Hold BDC reticle makes it easy to place accurate shots at extended range, and the optic is securely mounted to a 1-piece EGW 0 MOA rail.

Bought this gun at the beginning of November and used if for hunting, got it chambered in 7MM REMINGTON MAGNUM and it pretty much a laser pointer anytime you aim at your target (whether that’s a deer or moose). 100% success rate everytime I hunted with this rifle. Only little draw back was I had to use an entire box of bullets just to sight in the rifle or more so the scope. Was shooting way to high and had to adjust the elevation turret, had to turn it down like 80 clicks just to get it on paper. After that though it was all bullseye shots.

Just bought it & haven't fired it yet but seem to be having a problem with the magazine clicking in & staying? Just a new gun thing or? Seems really finnicky

Not a bad setup. I have this in a .308 I heard savage had, 'come along way'. But i feel they have, 'a long way too go!' The stock is cheap. Im mean really cheap! The bolt is poorly designed. If you aren't seasoned with this actual model the its most likely you will lose some skin off of you thumb. Almost 0 clearance from the scope. Trying to pull for fast action in some situations has proven to be not so great. Im not sure why they would not have made a slight curve to give you the clearance from the scope. But, for a simple package and to harvest you next meal i'd say yes.

I picked up the rifle at Daytona Beach store and during the process of clearing staff did not let me check the rifle and when I unboxed it at home noted multiple scratches in the Vortex scope that is not within my expectations; sending you pictures herewith: hoping I get a scope replacement.

Picked it up at Daytona store in a box with bubble wrapping, I was asked to check up rifle and unwrapping it at home noticed significant scratches in the Vortex scope where I am sending you pictures herewith; and after bolt assembly tried loading .350 legend ammo several times difficulty straight loading into barrel; not sure if because it’s brand new; haven’t tried shooting it yet. But total disappointment with scratches and loading issue.

Disclaimer: I currently use this combo, I did not buy it through Cabela's! I got this combo because I am a southpaw and there are many left-handed options with this set-up. I'm newer to hunting (4th year currently) so I didn't want to break the bank but still wanted a decent rifle. The Vortex scope is great and comes bore-sighted, but definitely needs some time on the range to become perfect. The adjustable trigger weight is a fantastic feature, I often pull to the right when I squeeze the trigger but the adjustable weight allows me to set the pull weight lower and mitigate my stray. I have the 110 in a 7mm-08 caliber, and the recoil pad makes it feel like I'm shooting a .22lr; I could shoot this all day without any shoulder pain. I am by no means a good shot (yet), but once you have this combo dialed in, it will not disappoint! 4 years, 4 deer and not a single step taken after a shot. I absolutely recommend this rifle to anyone getting into hunting or looking for an affordable, good quality rifle/scope combo.

Excellent rifle. Easy to zero at 100 yards. It is very easy to disassemble. The bolt moves very smoothly. I love it. This rifle is excellent all around for deer, bear or moose.

Did tons of research and settled on this rifle, sadly I wish I got a different brand. First day out of the box go to instal a sling and the forward sling mount falls out of the stock there was no back nut installed just a screw set in the hole. Emailed, couple weeks later a new stock showed up. Fast forward a couple weeks I go to shoot it for the first time, load a round, fire, bolt is frozen forward, can’t eject the casing. Beat the bolt back and the casing is all scratched and gouged from a rough chamber. 8 more rounds 3 different brands of ammo same result. Now I’ve gotta deal with the pain of sending it in to get repairs. Over all for an almost 800 rifle I shouldn’t have to deal with that it should work no issues right out of the box.

The reason I gave 2 stars is because when I picked the rifle up I could tell they gave me a display rifle. It had some light scratches in the stock and also the scope was full of dust and the caps on the scope were scratched up. I waited long enough for the rifle and excepted it. When you spend that much money you expect it to be brand new, not a display model that others handled for who knows how long. I'm usually pleased with Cabelas but not this time.

My Savage 110 Apex hunter has an extremely hard bolt lift. I am shooting factory ammo which isn’t exceptionally hot and after I fire a shot it is very difficult to activate the bolt. I have another Savage rifle that works just fine but I am going to need to get this one worked on.

Right out of the box at 100 yards 2 moa off. Must of been set for 200 yards. The trigger is supper. Just awesome. Great rifle at a great price. Love to show the target.

The rifle is amazing, accurate shooting once making the required adjustments. I purchased the Left hand rifle. Upgraded the scope. The only downfall is that the action bolt is very close to the body of the the firearm. When pulling the bolt up and back your knuckle has the chance of scraping against the scope when ejecting the shell if you're not careful. I've looked for anything that can extend the bolt or adjust the scope in different ways. Seems my ideas were not able to prevent this. It is not a deal breaker though. Just gotta be careful.

Nice gun. Does have some creep in the trigger, I will be contacting Savage about it once hunting season is over. My 2 other Savages with the Accru Trigger have zero creep so I am confident Savage will get this taken care of. I haven't been able to get any good groups with it yet but haven't had time or ammo to really dial it in.

It is a bit early to give an overall opinion about my new rifle as I just received it yesterday. I do like the compactness of it, and cannot wait to go shoot it at the range. I will be adjusting the cheek weld and butt stock with the included inserts, next will be a Scout Scope.

Looked all over the internet looking for a left handed .350 legend. Guns.com was only folks in America with it so I ordered it. Gun feels great. And Guns.com delivered in a very timely manner.

You sold and shipped to me a defective rifle, and you refused to let me return it and you replace it. Savage did not sell me the rifle. You did. This is unethical, unprofessional and unscrupulous conduct. SHAME ON YOU! I will NEVER do any more business with you bunch of crooked shysters.

Great guns! I was exactly what they said it was. Definitely going to buy more guns from them. They made it very easy.

Due to the lack of ammunition it’s impossible to test the rifle. Another Democratic Obama and Biden ammunition deal.
