The lever-action itself is a time-honored design that’s every bit as valid today as it was in 1860 when B. Tyler Henry developed his legendary repeater. We haven’t changed our highly successful basic core rimfire concept, but if you’re a dedicated small-gamer, these two new Henry lever actions with thoroughly modern Skinner sights mated to Henry’s well-known rimfire accuracy take our popular Frontier model right square into new territory. Small game can be hard to see, and when there’s a little more on the line than tin cans and Saturday afternoon plinking, precise sights are a must. Since the critters typically hunted rarely stand as still as tin cans do, quick follow-up shots are also frequently needed, and the smooth action we’re famous for is a perfect match for the capabilities of the Skinner sight. In either barrel length, the Small Game Carbine and Rifle are fitted with Skinner’s solid steel rear base and fully adjustable aperture (with 0.096 inches insert or 0.200 inches ghost ring option) specifically dimensioned to line up perfectly with the tall brass bead front sight for easy zeroing, greater visibility, and more precision when it’s needed. We retained the American walnut stock, classic octagon barrel and versatile utility in all three standard 22 rimfires, the long rifle, long, and short to cover everything from trapline to tree-top and beyond, and added a cold-weather, glove-friendly, over-sized large loop lever to this trim four-season hunter. Easy through the brush, quick on target, and fast on follow-up. A serious hunting lever gun for serious lever gun hunters.

1 year agoHard to find anybody that owns a ruger 10-22 that doesn't think it was the "best" small caliber rifle ever made. (especially if it was your first) just look at how many manufacturers jump on the design once the patent ran out! Only thing I ever did to it was put on a real nice scope and bought a couple 25 round clips. It's been in the shooting collection for over 45 years! now....step up to a whole 'nother lever of 22 lr enjoyment!! Just UNBELIEVABLE! Gorgeous in it's fit and finish … Read More

1 year agoToo early to rate. Have only had 30 rounds thru it at a target. No disappointments as of yet. Craftsmanship, finish, function all meet or exceed my expectation so far. Really fun little gun. Looking forward to next time I get to shoot it and to do some rabbit hunting.

1 year agoNot sure if my Henry rifle was sent this way or if this happened in transit somewhere but extremely disappointed with my purchase. Am having trouble getting this issue fixed which is also a disappointment.

1 year agoSold my Marlin Model 60 because I wanted a lever gun, and I was really picky about what I wanted. I wanted the large loop so I could wear gloves when it was cold, and I wanted a peep sight because I’ve never been a fan of buckhorns. The octagon barrel wasn’t a deal-breaker, but I’m glad I got it. The Small Game checked all my boxes from the factor...Read More Read more about review stating Worth waiting for

1 year agoReally disappointed to find out the receiver is a painted alloy metal which already has a small scratch coming out of the box. I think the least they could do for a gun in this price range is to apply a better more durable coating such as cerakote which I will eventually have to pay for in the future.
