1 year agoI bought this for my wife to get into pistol shooting. It's super easy to manipulate and shoot and she has a blast. There have been almost no issues with ftf or fte, and the issues we have run into are ammo related. We can consistently run CCI Mini-mag 36grn HP without any feed or ejection issues. This is a gem of a .22 and super fun to shoot.

1 year agoI have not yet fired it, but I will say, it is a beauty! Very well made, and true to form to my actually .45 cal 1911. German workmanship shows in every detail. And for the price, even just holding it and looking at it, it's is worth it. I will update once I fire it. But yes, very happy that I found one.

1 year agoGreat .22LR Pistol. Looks and feels like a full sized .45acp 1911 but chambered in .22LR Platform. Definitely a good plinker once you break it in to cycle properly. Full sized 1911 with some great weight to it. For what it is cost it was worth every penny.

1 year agoHave not been able to get to range yet but did take it apart to clean and oil…fit and finish are exactly like my GSG 911 .22…which is to say EXCELLENT. Looks and feels just like a normal 1911…a little lighter but definitely has good heft and feels solid. Can’t wait to hit the range with it soon.

1 year agoThis 1911 is no doubt is a mirror image of the of the military edition. Except better for those who wants it for home protection and proficiency.

1 year agoHilariously inexpensive for the fun it delivers. Shockingly accurate considering the low price too. The trigger could be better but it’s certainly not bad, and could probably be slicked up by anybody familiar with 1911s. I plan to remove the magazine safety which will certainly help. It’s proven fairly reliable with CCI Mini Mags, but (as advertised) won’t run with subsonic ammo (at least none that I’ve tried). There are loads of YouTube videos showing the necessary paint removal from the slide

1 year agothe best little 22 I've ever purchased extremely accurate and fits in your hand perfect All my friends that shot it loved it as well If you are a fan of the 1911 you will love this gun I have shot 250 rounds through it no failures to feed

1 year agoGreat build quality, ran through CCI Standard Velocity LR with no problems. Came without a lock, required to purchase separately, even though I had a half dozen at home. Extra Magazines are a little pricey (only comes with 1), however, very good quality. Shooting is effortless with decent accuracy. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

1 year agoGood quality pistol. It's worked great as a substitute for my .45 1911s to teach newbies on fundamentals and 1911 operation. The takedown to clean is a bit of an annoyance, what with needing a little hex wrench, but mostly the same as a big 1911. One caveat: it really does prefer high velocity .22LR rounds (CCI mini-mags, etc.), because with standard velocity rounds from Federal and Winchester mine would have trouble cycling the slide or failure to eject once every fifteen to twenty five rounds. High velocity rounds gave me no trouble.

1 year agogreat pistol for the money. Commie california allows only one handgun per month. So i have to wait for awhile.

1 year agoThis is a great range day gun. The feel and look of a true 1911 but no kick. Fun and cheaper way to shoot some targets.

1 year agoFun and accurate 1911 style .22. Keep it clean and no missfeeds with high velocity ammo. Nice trigger pull and grip. Easy takedown to clean. I had a little trouble replacing slide stop after cleaning until I realized to press in and up to fit. Bought a couple extra mags and loader to speed up shooting experience. Economical to shoot, accurate and simple. What's not to like?

1 year agoExcellent pistol out of the box. I ran 100 rounds yesterday at the range and it worked flawlessly. I ran Aguila 38/1280 hp ammo. No issues. It was extremely accurate. Very fun to shoot.

1 year agoPicked this up today. I did the obligatory steel wool polishing/paint removal on the inner slide, the frame slide and the feed ramp. I have six magazines. 60 for 60 on steel targets at 40 ft and 60 for 60 at 60 feet using Armscor, 36 grain, high velocity ammo. Absolutely fun gun to shoot! As always, an easy transaction at S.W.

1 year agoExcellent plinker! Took it to the range and ran 100 rounds of Browning high velocity through it. Then another 50 rounds of Aguila HV 22LR. Straight of the box and 0 failures of any kind. I love the feel of the weight and full size 1911 frame. Pick up an extra magazine or two. Lots of fun to shoot.

1 year agoGot my GSG 1911-22 and took it to the range (after an initial cleaning, of course). Wonderful trigger! This gun feels and fires like my full-size 1911 without the recoil. Fills my hand with the same weight and feel of a higher caliber 1911. More accurate than I'm capable of shooting. I ran 100 rounds through it and had zero Failures to Feed or Fai...Read More Read more about review stating A wonderful way to spend an afternoon!
