I had this rifle (22-250) now for 9 months, at first did not care to much about it. like all new guns stiff. It needed a bit of working out, so after i did a quick bolt and trigger job (hi buff) to smooth it out and glass bedded it,top it off with the Cabela's covenant 4 scope. Well now this is my goto. I guess I could have put 1000 rounds through it to get it where its at but you no. Great gun for the budget mined shooter.

I bought this rifle (270 Win) a few years ago. I paired it with a Cabela's Cal spec riflescope. The gun shoots very accurately and has filled my tag twice to date. It is a nice weight and is easy to maintain as a beginner. I highly recommend it

Bought one of these a few years ago, good quality for price, now they just keep making cheaper, not worth money, becoming garbage

This is a budget gun. That being said the stock and trigger leave a bit to be desired but, this is a budget gun. I dropped this into a Boyd's stock and installed a Mcarbo pro trigger kit for it and poof. No longer a budget gun. Rifle has been broken in and I am testing different loads to see what works. Currently have an inch and a quarter group. Very soft shooting, impluse is a light thumpy push. After desired upgrades great little woods gun.

I'm All EXCITED about this new rifle but haven't shot it yet. I went by GOOGLING to find the most affordable and best rated. This Savage axis had 4/5 stars every where i checked. Can't go wrong for the price of around $300 including a $30 rebate. Grabagun had the best price and great option to send to my local ffl gunshop.

Everything is very good. The ONLY thing I don't like is the bolt is unnaturally hard to lift up. Other than that its a great gun. Have harvested 1 deer so far.
