The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 features simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber to muzzle cleaning. A recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. Receiver is made of aerospace-grade aluminum and is ventilated, making the pistol extremely light. Comfortable, precision-molded polymer grip frame with a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap. Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight to barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving slide designs. Contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation round after round. Ambidextrous manual safety positively locks the sear in the “SAFE” position when applied. Safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer.

1 year agothis is by far the easies 22lr to brake down and clean. Have both the bronze barrel 22/45 elite (wife gun) and the lt target gun. If you have small hands the grips probable will not fit your hands. have installed red dot and this gun is a tack driver at 10 yards. have shot Remington, aquila, golden bullet , and several other brands and have had no failure to feed or stove piping so far and this is shooting 3000 rounds through one gun and 2500 through the wifes gun. add a volquartsen trigger kit and you have approximately 2 lbs trigger

1 year agoThe wooden hand grips are enormous. if you never found a pistol with a large enough grip for you, I challenge you to try this on for size. I'm thinking about shaving mine down because the contoured wood feels great despite the size.

1 year agoGreat pistol, dialed right in so I was getting quarter sized groups at 30 feet. Just wish the sites weren’t black on black and the mag release was easier to get to. Will be upgrading to Williams Fire Sites in the near future.

1 year agoIts super light and being a .22, it's super cheap to fire on targets and help keep your practices improve. I haven't fired mine yet but I have used one similar and very reliable.

1 year agoAwesome Target pistol. My first Ruger. Wish it would have come with a plastic mag loader. Find it challenging to load shells with one button and spring is stiff, Overall, I am very pleased with the pistol, and Ruger’s customer service is excellent! Good looking pistol as well!

1 year agoVery easy to shoot and operate! I just passed my enhanced concealed handgun permit exam and scored 100% on the firing portion of the test! Hit the target with all 50 rounds with no malfunctions of the gun! Very easy to take apart and clean!
