1 year agoI bought this cause my daughter prefers shooting our AR over the pistols and she's not a huge fan of the 12 gauge. This thing is perfect. Didn't break the bank and we can shoot almost 2 to 1 margin of bullets vs the 5.56. Hardly any recoil as well. And surprisingly much quieter than I anticipated. I have already done a few upgrades (aluminum trigger, lower weight sear spring, front matching grip, 3 moa reticle dot, extended charging handle and muzzle brake). Don't get me wrong, you get what you pay for. Had issues with bullets jamming the first 5 or 6 magazines. Oil the mags alot! Definitely helped. None of the rails are straight either. Be replacing with aluminum soon.

1 year agoThe different patterns on these guns are all done very well. I bought the desert camo pattern and love it. Was skeptical about a Hi-Point but this guns has a lot of unexpected features especially at this price point. The reviews were not wrong, the guns shoots reliably and with little felt recoil. Have shot other direct blow back pistol caliber carbines and nothing under 1000 can touch it. Only complaint is the single stack magazines. Hopefully future versions will use higher capacity or even Glock mags. Looking forward to many hours of fun.
