The SU16 series is designed, engineered and crafted to be the perfect everyday Sport Utility rifle. Differing primarily in barrel length and stock configuration, these gas piston operated, semi-auto rifles accept standard AR-15 magazines, with some models that store two spare, proprietary magazines in the stock. The Charlie model offers an under-folding stock for compact storage, however this variant still operates in the folded position with a metal GI magazine or proprietary KELTEC 10 round magazine. Like all the SU16 models, it’s chambered for the common 5.56 NATO cartridge, comes equipped with a Picatinny-style rail up top and it’s excellent for outdoor activities that require a lightweight, compact rifle.
