S&W M&Pu00ae9 M2.0u2122 Compact 9mm Pistol W/ Thumb Safety, Black – 11686

Good style, usable sights, fair trigger and great ergonomics, the grip locks into your hand and points naturally. Got it, cleaned and lubed it, went to the range and ran 150 Herter’s rounds with no malfunctions. Very accurate, no sight adjustment needed. Did a $2 polish on some internal parts and the little guns trigger now feels better than most striker fired guns. I now have over 500 rounds of all kinds of ammo through it with 1 dud round, guess which ammo that was! Now on my hip in a Tolster holster.

This is a great gun for sure but the images and description are incorrect. The 9mm model # 11686 shown on Cabela's website does not include that it has the thumb safety in the description and it is not shown in the images. If not for that this would be a 5 star review. My fault for not double checking S&W's website to verify but other than that it's a great handgun that I will still use and enjoy. I will just get the frame plugs from S&W and remove the safety myself.

This is the best overall 9mm Compact size IMO! Super accurate. Love the feel, fits my hand perfect! I've put around 400 rounds through it now and not a single issue. A plus is the original M&P 17rd mags will work with the included spacers. USA made!

Very Nice pistol. Fits great in your hand. Having the different hand grips is really nice. Very nice to shoot. Only drawback is the thumb safety does not have a safe/ fire marking.

Out of the box kept a shot group 1.5” wide at 20 feet. I’m 6’2” and 245 pounds but won’t be an every day carry, great for home defense or road trip protection.

Bought this for my wife for CCW. She loves it! Shot 115 grain FMJ. With a lower grain for my wife helped with recoil and getting front sight back on target. The grip is superb for handling. Especially in stressful situations when your hands sweat, it gives you extra grip to hold on. Great weapon for a woman! I’m even thinking about getting one for myself.

I'm a first time gun owner, and so my opinion is limited. The gun shoots well, has a great fit, and is easy to maintain. I like it.

After I checked the gun out I handed it to my wife. She racked the slide back and commented on how nice the serrations were to grip, it was much easier for her than a 1911. The grip feels a little narrow for me but I put the larger grip insert in and took it to the range. Although the trigger felt a little gritty when dry firing it felt great in operation. My friend commented that I should always shoot this gun because of how well I was shooting it. The thumb safety falls in a spot

First pistol, I love it, feels great, recoil is easy to get the hang of and adjust to for a beginner pistol shooter coming from the AR15 platform. Can't wait to practice more with this thing, the learning curve might make this pistol more fun to shoot than my AR15! One thing to note for my gun: My slide release became very stiff after putting 50 rounds through it, will keep testing. Mods that will be installed> Light, Apex Trigger, Floyd magwell + 6/+4 mag extenders. Will test out the irons/ stock trigger some more before I jump to an optic and the new trigger.

I fell in love with this pistol. The 2.0 trigger gives me an accuracy beyond a normal 2 inch barrels range.

I have to truly say you guys made my 1st pistol purchase experience simple as it could have been. Delivery time to NY was perfect. I will be looking to do business again in the near future.
